"The hotel was stunning, a modern mountain vibe. The staff were extremely friendly and kind. The rooms were beautiful and spacious. The pools are spectacular, we had seen a photo of these and that was why we visited. We were not disappointed, cave like steam rooms and saunas, multiple pools. The entire experience was extremely enjoyable and we will go back. I should also mention the bar food was to a very high standard, reasonable prices and large portions. "

"This was one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal. Not only the rooms were very comfortable and clean, but the owners made us truly feel at home. We had a lovely dinner in town the night we arrived, and met them at reception for some of their homemade fruit liquor and a lovely chat in front of the fireplace with the whole family. Breakfast was fantastic! They offered a great variety of traditional homemade breads made in an oven used for many generations, artisanal cheeses, jams, biscuits...
