"Its very clean, near to train station and also the breakfast was very good. "

"The chalet was clean, although small, there was sufficient space for our motorcycle gear and space outside to leave luggage. The area around the lake is good for walking and due to it being end of season, very quiet throughout the day and night. The breakfast service was poor and does not represent good value. The first day there were no bowls for creals and no clean tea mugs. On the second day we were the only two diners. The cleaners were in the room drinking coffee when we arrived so there was not enough coffee left. I asked for more, they gave us a flask, locked the service room and left. They hadn't made more coffee but simply topped up the flask with water so the last bit we had was undrinkable. We then realised they had locked away the breads and croissants, leaving us nothing to eat. I told the office about this and as we had only eaten half a breakfast I asked for a refund of one but this was refused. We had a long ride that day and wanted a good start to the day, not to pay for the cleaners' breakfast. Overall the stay was good and I recommend it to others but advise against having the breakfast. "

"What a gorgeous place on the Haute -Meuse a chateau style hotel set in lovely gardens and orchards. Peaceful drinks terrace by the river and a very good restaurant - I immediately cancelled my return ferry and stayed an extra night"

"Ho hum. The hotel turns out to be a different hotel a little way down the street. The E17.00 breakfast is average - I’d suggest getting something at the nearby bakery and having breakfast on a bench by the river. So, overall it’s ok but probably a little past it’s best. "

"Eclectic hotel well located just a short walk from the main square. Our room was very comfortable and had a luxurious bathroom. No closet (but we didn’t need one)."

"Checked in very late due to flight delays but receptionist couldnt have been any more accommodating. He was very nice. Perfect location to get to train station in morning"
