Beautiful Home with Potential, but Needs Updates
This is a beautiful home filled with lovely antiques, so much so that I suggested the management company take an inventory of all the priceless items. The house sits on a stunning piece of land with unique trees that suggest the owner may have been an arborist—truly a nature lover's dream. However, there were a few downsides. Despite having two bathrooms, there is only one toilet, as the second bathroom only has a bidet. The appliances are in serious need of updating. Most looked like they were from the 1970s. The refrigerator barely kept food cold, the stove didn't work, and the top oven was damaged and seemed like a fire hazard. The dishwasher and the heat didn't work either. We also had issues with the bathroom sink, which was loose, and the shower that backed up. Additionally, the gate for the driveway was decrepit, and opening the front door was a herculean task. While this house has incredible potential and charm, it definitely needs some attention and updates to make future stays more comfortable.
