"We loved the property! Feels so remote but you are super close to town to go eat and shop and enjoy why you came to Natchitoches. There are six beautiful cabins that are elevated up on the hilltop with plenty space between to have privacy. With a patio and a porch swing so you can sit and relax. It is definitely dog friendly, and there is a wonderful dog, I think her name was Addie, and I believe she adopted us while we were there and I would have taken her home except how could you take anything from this amazing area and home . Our dog and Addie played and played and played. There is a large community fire pit also with porch swings that surround it. We were the only ones down there while we stayed. There is also a fishing dock. We did not catch anything but we saw plenty of fish jumping. We did not come prepared to fish much, it would be great to drop a kayak in from the property. Is appears the owners have been continuously responsive to reviews and comments because we had absolutely no complaints. We stayed in cabin six and they actually did install a toilet upstairs so we did not have to walk downstairs in the middle of the night I have already told my entire family that I want us to do our family reunion here there is a large pavilion that clearly could be used for large, gatherings or weddings. Down by the dock, there is a great covered outdoor space. I LOVE IT. "

" We were visiting Natchitoches and needed a "smoking" room which means that our options were limited. After reading some of the reviews, I wasn't sure about staying here but it's location was good so we took a chance. This place is a good economical choice. It isn't fancy but it does have everything needed for a comfortable stay. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, check in was easy. It has some sort of breakfast but we didn't check it out. Plus there are several places to get something to eat within walking distance. The only negatives that we experienced was that the "power" button on the TV remote did not work. All other functions of the remote worked fine. Also there was road construction going on but that wasn't the motel's fault and once you got used to maneuvering through it, it wasn't a problem. "

"Old farm house with a modern twist. Very nice property. If looking for a place to get away to relax it’s a great place. Kelly, the host is very friendly. Didn’t get the name of the lady that cooked the breakfast she was friendly. Had a good choice for breakfast. The soaker tub was amazing. Wish I would’ve had more time to explore the property. Overall I enjoyed my stay. "

"The staff was very accommodating. We had arom on the second floor, with no elevator. However we immediately were given a room on the first floor instead. Right by the reception. The motel was clean and quiet with safe surroundings. The breakfast was an ”international breakfast”, but the coffee was good. "
