"This was a hidden gem we were so happy to find. Francois met us to let us in to private, gated parking and set us up. Our garden floor room was so precious with its huge bed and sitting area. Homemade breads/jams, coffee, tea, juices were a delicious start today, Shower was super hot and the largest towels were wonderful. We stayed two nights because we lived our stay so much. We were able to walk to dining and shopping easily. Secure gate made us feel safe coming and going."

"The host was very nice and spoke good English. Our room was cramped and somewhat dated. The toilet was separate from shower area and both doors had to be closed to navigate around the bed. Breakfast was great. There was a close-by restaurant where we had a dinner. It was really very nice for the price!"

"This b&b is in a good location close to Chartres, with an attractive building and garden, and plenty of secure parking. However, access to the rooms, set in an upper floor inserted into an old barn, is by steep and narrow stairs. The rooms have thin walls and the cheapest possible fittings, especially in the bathroom which did not even have a shower fitted to the wall but just an attachment to the bath taps. It has a comfortable shared sitting room. The breakfast too was poor, providing the bare...
