"Very pleasant 2-night stay at Hotel Splendid, with courteous, helpful staff, and a lovely view from the balcony. Convenient to the shops, restos, and convenience store. For those not familiar with the area and arriving by car, I recommend the hotel parking a couple blocks away. "

"Exquisitely clean hotel in the center of Montpellier. Staff was friendly and helpful, spoke French and English. They even found some clothing I left behind and called when it was found. Free parking in the hotel lot. Tricky location to find because of Montpellier’s many one-way and circuitous streets. Some street noise from college students on a weekend night, but the hotel itself was very quiet. An excellent stay."

"Gorgeous secluded hotel facing the sea with private beach, heated pool and jacuzzi and spa, with a great chef restaurant and a nice cocktail lounge. ou junior suite on the top 2nd floor had a great terrace directly on the beach and a very comfy bed. Shower water pressure and temperature is perfect when no other guests are around but becomes weaker or less warm when the hotel is busier and that is a pity for such a classy place. "Overall is a good hotel, dining options are limited"

"Location was very good for walking the city. Staff very good , a clean comfortable room with good amenities. We stayed in winter time, late February, and not all of the hotel was open. As the restaurant was closed a limited menu was offered in the bar area. The hotel itself is situated off the polygon shopping centre which in places seems a little run down. We missed the hotel parking which is accessed through the polygon parking. No big issue though. "
