"Lovely location - right by the river - perfect for adults, teenagers, kids and dogs. Some lovely restaurants within walking distance. Very pretty. House is nice but could definitely benefit from a bit of a spruce. Garden furniture all needs a good clean - tatty cushions outside. Kitchen well equipped for 14 although missing any large glasses. Pillows on beds need updating. No air conditioning which made it difficult on hot days/nights but lots of fans provided. Good area for dining. Pool quite small and no pool lights for evenings. Rubbish needs to be sorted into recyclable and general waste - and basically taken out every day - we were not provided with the key card to access the larger hatch for general waste - which meant posting individual bits through a small postbox contraption in the side. Plenty of space for 12. Kayaking very close and a lovely way to spend the day."

The terrace on the upper floor is completely private and has comfortable furniture for lounging. Pauline, the owner, is a top-notch hostess, taking care of every detail with friendly efficiency. It has old world charm with modern conveniences. Perfect!"
