"The property is located in a quiet residential street near to some local shops and about a mile on foot to the Vieux Port - a lovely tree lined stroll. The house is small but perfect for two people. We only used the ground floor - bedroom, shower, wc, kitchen and a nice sunny sitting room leading out into a small garden. NB Access to the basement accommodation is via very steep stairs. Only practical for the young and nimble! The house is a good base from which to explore the wonderful port town...

"A good base from which to explore the area. The shops and beach were within walking distance and we enjoyed lots of walks with the dog along the beachfront. The property was clean, comfortable and well equipped and the outside space was secure and safe for our dog and cat. An enjoyable stay, thank you!"

"Wonderful spacious house and garden in a a great location. Marsilly has many facilities including a supermarket, boulangerie, take away pizza shop and bar. La Rochelle is also only a 20 minute drive away."

"There was a warm welcome to this lovely property in La Rochelle. The property was clean and very well equipped. The location is great with ample parking outside and a 15 minute walk into the centre of La Rochelle. La Rochelle has plenty to offer including numerous restaurants.It is also a great location for visiting Ile de Re. Even though the temperature was hot during our stay the property remains cool inside. There is no washing machine so you might want to consider this if you have a young...
