"This is an older hotel and could use new beds and bedding. The shower has been remodeled and is nice but it is impossible not to get water everywhere. The bathroom steams up so badly they have a plate on the door telling you not to leave the door open when showering or you will set off the alarm. That being said, it is clean and the staff is wonderful. The restaurant was closed but you could get meals in the bar. The food was good and again, the staff was great. "Fantastic location right in the centre of town, but tucked away from the main street with beautiful view across the cascades. Hot tub and pool area was very clean and well run, room was generously sized and breakfast was really great with a fantastic selection of fresh and tasty food. Great hotel, highly recommended. "

"One night only but was out for most of the evening. Dined in the restaurant where service was prompt up to main course as we arrived after 9pm and ‘the kitchen was closing’. After main course was served, restaurant staff disappeared and the only staff were those using the restaurant as a thoroughfare on their way home off shift (presumably banqueting staff) who didn’t look left or right in case someone asked them something….
