My family loved the location. you can't beat the proximity to the park and the price. However the bathroom did not seem super clean, the toilet was dirty and brown on the inside, and the towels were scattered around the rooms and difficult to find. We also had a spider in our bed, and another in our bedroom, I suppose that's part of the mountain experience.
We were not given instructions for check-in which made me anxious because we were losing service as we got to the house, luckily we figured it out. Once we were in the home and using the wifi, I heard back from the host, but this was a late check-in. We arrived in the evening, closer to 7 pm, and we should've gotten that information before 4, the normal check-in time. I shouldn't have to reach out and ask.
Also there was a bunch of food in the fridge and freezer. that was odd.. and when I went to get ice, there was a big pizza cutter on top of the fridge that almost took my toe out.. I didn't know what it was beforehand because of the design of the holder, but it fell off as soon as the fridge opened. Kind of strange and not safe
Anyway, this house could honestly be great if it got the TLC it needs and was handled with a little more professionalism. Replace the toilet, respond better, brighten it up a little, and don't leave open food in the fridge/kitchen. In the end, it got us through the night, and to the park at a reasonable time without having to wake up earlier and sit through a 2-hour car ride, at a great price
