"The door didn't close without us slamming it, some staff were very friendly but others were quite rude and didn't tell us when the breakfast buffet moved next door until we came downstairs and reception was locked so we knocked until someone answered. The area around the hotel is lovely but the hotel itself isn't the best. It's old, with black mold in the shower railing, orange soap scum staining the curtain and poor ventilation, even worse AC. Says the soap etc is included but provided only one...

The room was basic but quite spacious and had everything we needed as we stay 3 nights to visit Puy du Fou (5 min by car). "We were so happy with our stay here. We had an extended family visit to see puy du foy. The accommodation was very large and perfect for our big group, the grounds were beautiful and the children loved the outside space. We would not hesitate to stay here again. The host was beyond helpful and was very kind after my daughter twisted her ankle in the garden (entirely her own fault as she fell over a football the children had been playing with)."
