"We stayed at Le Castel for 2 nights during a trip to see the beaches of Normandy. The town of Bayeux is charming and the Normandy region is beautiful! Le Castel is conveniently located in town, and walkable to all the charming restaurants, shops, and attractions in Bayeux. My complaints fall with the lack of accessibility of staff. "I had a wonderful stay at this lovely B&B right in the heart of Bayeux. The home is extremely clean, and the owner has an excellent eye for collecting and decorating with interesting pieces. "Extremely pleasant family running a small, quiet property. Easy parking and a simple, but nice breakfast. From the front door it was a 100 meter walk to the middle of Gold Beach and a 1-2 km drive or hike up to the cliff top memorial over Arromanches. "We had a great experience there. Our host Vanessa was very kind, friendly and welcoming. The place is beautiful, clean, very comfortable and maintained to a high standard. The pool and hot tub make it even more pleasant. And what a feeling to be surrendered by all those horses. We were lucky enough to go along Vanessa when she went feeding the horses, she took time to explain to us many things about life in the horse-breeding farm. "Sylvie and Jean-Michel were absolutely amazing hosts. They are a warm, friendly and engaging couple that love what they do. "The themed rooms (chambre Frsncaise “ ) was Delightfully appointed . It Opened up to the backyard garden - in all very welcoming ( for a weary traveller such as myself ) "
