"When we booked this place we spent months excited about it and talking about how cool it would be. And then we got there and it lived up to all of our hopes and more! We stayed for a month and never got tired of the amazing view from the castle to the grounds and from the grounds to the castle. We spent hours hiking in the woods and playing kickball on the main lawn. The kitchen is huge and had everything we needed. "House and surroundings were lovely but wouldn’t sleep 17. We were worried we wouldn’t find enough to do but that wasn’t the case. However, Mele (the nearest town) was a little disappointing as most of the businesses were closed for a few weeks while we were there, in August but we had a lovely stay and the owner was very helpful."

"Though they do not speak much English, we made it work. They were very nice and accommodating, providing a hair dryer and wi-if. It’s a nice, clean, European hotel. The restaurant meal was excellent as well. They also helped obtain a taxi when I had to leave before the office opened in the morning. "

"An excellent place to stay prior to catching the Caen ferry. The hotel was easily accessed, with a large secure parking area Very welcoming with a comfortable room and a good breakfast was available. There is a very large Le Clerc close by with a restaurant which provided a good evening meal and an opportunity to get items to take home. "

"We had the most amazing holiday in this beautiful chateau. We were x4 families and the house was extremely comfortable with plenty of activities to keep the kids and adults entertained (table tennis, foosball, swimming pool, extensive grounds for football, walks etc). The swimming pool is beautiful and we were lucky with the weather and thankfully there is plenty of space indoors to retreat into when it is very hot outside! "Great for an overnight stop on a long road trip. Lots of food outlets nearby which was helpful. The receptionist was very friendly and efficient. The en-suite bathroom was a bit like an airplane cabin which wasn't our favourite, but the shower was hot with good pressure so just a matter of preference. Amazing value. Our dog loved the grassy area to the rear of the property having been stuck in the car for 2 days of driving."
