I climbed the stairs to peek at what the loft looked like, but never went back up. With socks on, the steps were slippery. One suggestion would be a real couch in front of the main level tv. The futon is not comfortable to sit on for very long. "

The owners give guidance on how to care for their place so it stays in a well kept condition and also have informative signs to indicate where things are kept. Their lodge is pleasantly decorated with an up north theme and they even had it decorated for Christmas, which was festive.
