Your cares will be forgotten as you experience world-class rock climbing in Red Canyon Park, fly fishing on the Upper Arkansas River, class II - IV+ white water rafting, or pursue the local antique and art galleries. Located on 27 private acres at 8000 feet between Canon City and Westcliffe.

My wife and I picked this cabin to celebrate our 1st Anniversary. We couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. The cabin was beautiful and very clean. The peaceful setting, spectacular views, hiking opportunities on the property and the wildlife were everything we wanted and exceeded our expectations. We will definitely stay here again.

A true mountain paradise
This is the kind of place you want to tell everyone you know about, so they can enjoy the splendor of this glorious mountain paradise. Our stay couldn’t have been more perfect. The mountain views were epic, the gravel roads for gravel biking were scenic, and the hosts were exceptionally welcoming. We were truly blessed to have enjoyed a restorative weekend at this beautiful mountain retreat.

A beautiful and peaceful stay
We had three wonderful nights here in July while visiting family in the Cañon City area. The views from the front porch are amazing and the hiking and exploring around the property even kept the teens engaged. This was a great location for us to unwind and relax, but also was convenient to activities like zip lining, rafting and the Royal Gorge. John is a fantastic host and we appreciate him sharing his piece of paradise with us.

Wonderful Cabin Getaway
Absolutely loved our stay here. The cabin was perfect - incredibly clean and stocked with all the everyday essentials you might need (cooking supplies, extra towels, blankets, sheets, etc). The owner was very helpful and resides on the property, but not intrusive. Cannot beat the views and our little kiddos loved playing on the lawn, riding bikes around the property and swinging on the tire swing! Great memories.

This cabin is perfect with breathtaking views of the mountains. Deer visit frequently and the onsite hiking/exploring is a huge plus. We even got to do a little sledding! The owners are super nice and helpful. The cabin is stocked with any/all kitchen items you could need which was perfect for us since we brought groceries with us. We simply LOVED this property and will definitely be back again!!

Family visit
Perfect location for our family to stay (myself, two teenage boys, and my parents) while we visited family in the area. The cabin had everything we wanted - plenty of sleeping space, beautiful views, and all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed exploring the property, taking in the views form the porch, and playing cards in the evenings. The use of a gas grill was available along with plenty of kitchen supplies to cook meals. The hosts are wonderful. Definitely a place we would stay again.

Cozy cabin tucked into a beautiful mountain side
We drove in during the night so, we were absolutely amazed upon waking of the most beautiful views from the front porch! This quaint mountain cabin did have some modern touches and was the perfect place for our family to tuck away for a few days! We only wish we would have stayed longer and would love to plan another trip to stay again! This is definitely a place that is loved by a great family that is generous enough to share such a special place with families like ours!! We absolutely loved it!

The cabin is gorgeous! The bed to die for. The scenery was everything we could have asked for and more. The daily visits from deer was a highlight of the day. I am hoping we get to go back again. It really is the nicest cabin we’ve ever stayed in and. The location is far off the beaten path and so quite. It’s a great place to rest and relax. Loved the porch and the swing.

Quiet mountain getaway
This is the perfect place for a quiet mountain getaway! The cabin is spotless and decorated tastefully, the king bed (only one we used) was comfortable, and the property itself! Just wow! There are hiking trails all over, and the only thing you hear outside is yourself and the wildlife. Every morning the bunnies and mule deer visited. The night skies are clear and beautiful. I highly recommend this property.
