"First, I will comment about the "team" at Casa Yeanos. Eddy contacted us several time before and during our stay to insure we were happy and had everything we needed. The property manager met us to tour the property when we checked in and again when we checked out. They were always available to answer questions or offer recommendations. There are others such as the housekeeper, gardener, and pool person you could see during your stay. The property is in the hills above Faro. It's a walled property with a security gate and private parking. Depending on the time of day it could take up to 30 minutes to get to the old town of Faro where many excellent restaurants are located. I would like to mention Le Marquis as being the best dining experience while atayinf at Casa Yaenos. It's about a 10 minute drive from the property. It's French inspired and totally worth the slightly higher costs. The house is large enough for most families and small groups. It was only me and my spouse on this trip so we had more than enough room to spread out. The outside area is very nice (in spring, Summer, and early fall. The pool is large enough to accomodate children on one end and floating adults on the other end. There are no close neighbors to impinge on your privacy. The kitchen is adequately equipped (average VRBO) to allow cooking but you will need to supply your own spices. The bedrooms are well sized with baths in suite. We totally enjoyed our stay at Casa Yaenos. "

"The property is located in beautiful countryside, close to Estoi and the motorway. The airport is 15 only minutes away, which is great if you have an early flight. The property is perfectly equipped, we felt like we were at home. The host, Patricia, was always available and took care of us. If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet place, this is the best choice!"

"Wow! Casa Estrela is absolutely stunning and the photos cannot prepare you for the views out to the sea. The information emailed by Paul the owner before arrival was very helpful and detailed - make sure to read it fully before arrival for instructions on accessing the house. The main bedroom is huge, with its own en suite and large balcony. The house is perfect for large groups and we will be bringing our family here at a later date. The pool is wonderful and set on its own terrace, which gives a nice alternative for meals (a BBQ and kitchenette down here). You definitely need a car to make the most of the area, as the villa is set up a long private drive. We enjoyed the local beaches and the palace of Estoi and Roman ruins nearby. However, Casa Estrela has absolutely everything you need and you could quite happily never leave the villa Thank you so much for such an incredible stay, you have a truly beautiful villa. We look forward to staying again! "

"Love, love, loved our stay here what a hotel. Beautiful palace with sympathetically added bedrooms. Spacious, luxurious rooms, again with fantastic views. Wonderful views for the pool and bar area-stunning.Do wander into the town and around the beautiful gardens. Friendly, helpful staff-booked us a taxi for early airport run, with a breakfast bag. Even went to the trouble of prepping us coffees at 5am. We felt thoroughly spoilt."

"This is our second visit to this villa, Maria who takes care of the property on behalf of the owner is on hand and nothing is too much trouble. It’s in walking distance to Intermarche for groceries, 2 minutes to a restaurant and 10 minutes to a cafe. Patricia is quick to answer any questions, we messaged asking for coasters and an outside ashtray which we found left outside the door within a few hours. The only suggestion I would make is a a basic welcome basket for late night arrivals would be the icing on the cake. The villa is great for our needs and we will be back next year "

"House and view were better than described or pictured. Driveway is a little challenging in a larger vehicle but very doable. We would recommend and stay there again."

"First visit to Algarve, and this property absolutely made our stay simply brilliant, hosts Barry and Tina incredibly hospitable. The home has everything, I mean everything you require and then some. Kitchen is a chef's dream and the modern grocery store 3 KM's away has all you need. Lunches at Algarve restaurants are legendary, Tavira has a great spot - Mares - and the value for money off the charts. Place is as quiet as the night, bedding excellent and Roku TV's have excellent movie apps loaded for your enjoyment. Never used the pool, turned cool during our stay. You'll have to search hard to find any better VRBO country villa, driving in Portugal painless. Thanks again to Barry and Tina for a truly memorable experience."
