"We were so pleasantly surprised when we reached the apt.! It is nice and roomy and at the same time, very comfortable and cozy. The room was light, but we could almost completely darken for sleep. Additionally, the noise level was next to none. Great location for everything in Assisi! In all fairness those with limited mobility issues, the stairs could be a hindrance.Thank you, Laura!!!!!"

"We had a wonderful 3-night stay at this quaint apartment. The host was easy to contact and gave us a rundown on all the sites and best places to eat in Assisi. The beds were comfortable. Lots of dining choices and sightseeing all within easy walking distance. Our only complaint is we were a little bit cold. I should have had the host explain the thermostat before he left! "

"We absolutely loved our stay at Laura's Assisi apartment. The apartment was roomy and included all the things we would need from home. Laura was very responsive to any questions we had. We appreciated the parking she provided. The locations was excellent. We easily walked everywhere. We also found this to be a perfect location as our home base for a number of day trips to nearby places such as Orvieto, Loreto, Sienna and Perugia. We were sad to leave after the week. The terrace is large and provides a stunning view of the Umbrian countryside. The host made dinner reservations for us in a wonderful local restaurant called Taverna dell Orso. I highly recommend this property for your stay in Umbria."

The pool was a delight to cool down in as we had very hot weather. We feel you would definitely need a car as the walk down to the village was very steep (even for us who like to do a lot of walking).That said there were lots of interesting and beautiful places to visit in the local area that we thoroughly enjoyed. "The villa and the grounds are wonderful, and the views are enchanting. We had a great time at Villa Staffieri as a multi-generational family of 8.
