"I have been traveling to Mahahual for solo fishing adventures every year for at least the last 8 years, and I have always stayed at the Cabanas Del Doctor, and I always will! I don't need anything fancy, but for the very reasonable price of a room or cabana here you won't find anything even close to as good. Also, the woman who runs the hotel/cabanas is wonderful, I look forward to seeing her every year. Hope to be back again soon, thank you for everything once again!"

"Hôtel is at the end of the malecon but still very walkable. Outdated and needs some renovations and upkeep but you get what you pay for. Beach is not nice so not a good choice if you intend to stay at the hotel and want a beach vibe. I would not recommend if you intend to hangout at the hotel. But ok fir a weekend if you only sleep there"

"This is a HOSTEL, not a HOTEL. So, PRO: Súper friendly staff, big kitchen you can use, right in front of the beach, in the middle of nowhere. No people around. Perfect for a getaway with no cellphones.
