"Location was perfect - quiet, but 2 minutes from everything. Both indoor and outdoor spaces were well thought out, to get the best mix of sun, shade and light. The owners very kindly did some grocery shopping for us as we were arriving late in the evening - including a gift of a lovely bottle of local wine. "Great outdoor sitting / eating / lounging areas. Very pretty round pool etc. Lots of space inside, nice well equipped kitchen. Not too much hot water...no big deal but impacted dishwashing, central burner on hob didnt' work properly - generator made noise in morning. On arrival limited stock of toilet paper / dishwasher tablets etc a minor irritation. However, overall very satisfied. Lovely place"

"The villa was an excellent size for 4 adults and 2 young children. The outdoor space allowed for lots of running about and the pool to ourselves was terrific. The kitchen was generally well equipped although some larger mugs for hot drinks would be good, and a few less chipped small plates. The villa is a short drive from the town of Porte Cristo so you really do need a car, and to be confident about driving on unmade roads to access the villa. The town itself has some good bars and restaurants...

"Payment arrangements unnecessarily complicated with difficult system to use as non-Spanish speaker and non-Spanish bank account holder. Some debit / credit cards did not work... Pool was freezing cold (April sea temp was warmer), despite paying to have it heated. We complained to the agent but no follow up Action taken nor refund of payment offered. Very poor. Although this is a beautifully styled property we would not return."
