Comfortable, cosy with underfloor heating and nestling in upland-grazing land at about 1,000 feet elevation, this one-bedroom (one double-bed, sleeping two people) studio cottage has views down the valley and to the mountains beyond. The cottage has panoramic views towards Moel Famau to the north and the Berwyn range to the east and towards the Snowdonia range and Cadair Idris to the west and south. Located at the gateway to the Snowdonia National Park (on the edge of the Hiraethog region) but despite its rural location is closely accessible to the A5 trunk road and only 35 miles from Chester, 13 miles to LLangollen, 9 miles to Bala (with its lake and water sports ) and 18 miles from Betws –y- Coed. There is a local pub (the Goat Inn) within walking distance from the studio cottage and fabulous breakfasts and fine dining (lunchtimes and occasional evenings) at Rhug organic farm a couple of miles down the road .
Ideal for walks from the front door, a glass of wine or just relaxing in front of the wood burner in the conservatory enjoying the views or outside if weather permits; or as a cosy base to come back to after a day of walking or outdoor adventures with nearby Get Wet Adventure Company or White water rafting.
