"We were initially uncertain about booking here due to some negative online comments; however, very happy we did! it would be difficult to pristinely maintain the property as it is historic and quite large, so if you’re looking for something with every modern amenity, this is not the stay for you. ..."

Cortona was SPECTACULAR! If I’m able to, I would definitely like to retire there in the future. It is the most picturesque, friendly town I have ever encountered. I absolutely love it!

If you want peace and quiet after a day of exploring the country-side, pick an agriturismo-type lodging. But if you want some level of "nightlife" and a variety of options for dinner after a day of driving around, pick Cortona.
