Located in the Historic Fishing Village of Cortez, Crooked Coconut features a huge resort style pool and spa, a private dock on the bay, and unrivaled outdoor space. Our charming cottage is a one-of-a-kind home filled with character and history.

Step inside and delight in the coastal vibe with lovely hard wood floors, a beautiful interior, bright spaces, and professional decor. The entry area is its own living space complete with a desk and a daybed perfect for a nap or relaxing with a book.

The spacious living room features two sofas and offers the perfect place to relax and gather with family and friends. The large and bright kitchen has a dining table for 8 and additional counter seating overlooking the tropically landscaped backyard and covered back patio.

Guests will love the relaxing furnished lounge area on the patio and the nearby outdoor dining space on the pool deck. Enjoy grilling up a fresh catch on the BBQ and dining al fresco under the patio umbrella.

The master bedroom suite features a king-sized bed, en-suite bathroom, and entrance to the backyard. The two guest rooms share a Jack n Jill bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a queen bed and the other features a twin over full bunk bed. Each bedroom includes a TV and crisp linens and plush towels in the bathrooms from our professional linen service. Your guests will stay connected with complimentary WIFI and enjoy all of the comforts of home, including a washer and dryer

When you set eyes on the amazing resort style pool and spa, you will want to spend every vacation minute basking in the sun on the sun ledge, enjoying the waterfall, and relaxing poolside in the loungers and chairs. The backyard leads to the private dock on Sarasota Bay perfect for relaxing and fishing. Two single person kayaks with paddles are provided for guests to launch from the dock. Boats are not recommended as the water is very shallow.

The historic working waterfront of Cortez is near area beaches, fishing piers, restaurants, and shops. It's also the place to go for jet skiing, kayaking, and parasailing. If you enjoy history, Cortez's Florida Maritime Museum, housed in the restored historic 1912 schoolhouse, is located on the park-like grounds of the Cortez Nature Preserve and includes the Banks Shell collection, ship models, historic boats, and a butterfly garden.

The Cortez bridge connects the area to Anna Maria Island and the gulf beaches which are less than three miles from the cottage.

Your booking is with Anna Maria Life Vacation Rentals. We will send you check-in instructions 14 days prior to your arrival date. We will send you our rental agreement in an electronic signature document. Please review and return to us by following the instructions.

** Your signed rental agreement must be returned in order to receive your check-in details.

VRBO BOOKINGS

Anna Maria Life Vacation Rentals will charge your credit card for your deposit payment. You will also see a separate charge by VRBO for their service fee.

Your final balance is due 60 days prior to your arrival date. We will send you a final payment reminder 90 days prior to arrival. We do not automatically charge your card for your final balance.

The instructions for making your final payment will be included in your final payment reminder.
