"On arrival we were told the restaurant was closed so there was no food for the evening. We were advised to try the local amenities. Unable to charge drinks to our room or even set up a tab. In the morning, the cold tap didn't work in the shower, leaving me with a scorching, hot shower. "We only spent one night here but our room was warm, comfortable and spacious. There was a good choice for breakfast and the staff were all friendly. We would definitely stay again and felt it was great value for the standard. We stayed in a courtyard room but the outside was not really in use at this time of year so cannot comment on any noise"

"It is an excellent hotel, a great place to stay. My room was so clean and comfortable. An lovely bathroom with an excellent shower. I was given a friendly reception on arrival. I had a brilliant evening meal before walking to the local sports stadium to watch a football match. On my return to the hotel there were a lot of people in the bar and there was a superb atmosphere. "For an Inn, the George Inn has blown my mind away from having that welcoming customer services to the comfortable, peaceful, luxurious stay overnight. I wished that I booked for a few days as the location was convenient to all attractions in the area. To top up off, the price is just attractive for a last-minute booking."

"Such a magical place to stay for the nearby town. All of the Harry Potter filming locations were awesome to see and the town was so chill. There was something very D&D about checking in with the bar keep to get a room at the Inn above the pub. We absolutely loved staying here, and everyone was extremely kind. "

"The staff were very welcoming. I was traveling alone so decided to book the snug bedroom. I was pleasantly surprised. It was well equipped with tea and coffee facilities, large disabled access wet room. TV and an extra rad if I was cold. For the one night stay it had everything I needed. Breakfast was delicious with fresh orange juice and service you could not fault"

"Once again another amazing experience Booked this as a surprise for my wife and she loved it 😊...our room was spacious clean and the fridge well stocked a nice surprise. Comfortable large bed 🛌 and spa facilities very enjoyable also the gym is small but has everything you will need ."

"Set in the countryside the building is very impressive. There is ample parking but due to the hotels popularity one may have to walk a fair distance to get to the entrance. The entrance hall with its staircase is very impressive. On checking in the friendly receptionist gives you a map so you can find your room. This is a vital document as the route to ones room is a maze. We were upgraded and had a suite on two floors. Arriving late we had dinner in the Atrium. The food was good. The next morning we had breakfast in the Restaurant which was excellent. Prior to leaving we walked round the grounds which every guest should see."

Excellent overnight stay

"Firstly the hotel is in the middle of the city and only a 15 minute walk from Bristol temple meads station which makes it perfectly situated. The hotel is in a gorgeous part of the city in the middle of old Bristol. The service was superb with book in really easy and friendly staff. Room was clean and I’d stay here again without a second thought."

"This was my third stay at Bristol Royal Marriott. Staff have been lovely on all occasions and my room clean and of a very good standard. There is a relaxed vibe to the hotel which is within easy reach of all of Bristols attractions and there is parking on site which i have used on my two previous visits. Reasonably priced. "
