"First the owners and care taker Victoria are wonderful people. The home was much more “rustic” than we expected. AC can only be run at night and works intermittently. The shower and toilets are a combination sort of deal. So you shower on a wooden crate they provide while the shower curtain separates you from the toilet. "Absolutely wonderful. It was what I imagined a Tuscan Villa would be and more. It is private with spectacular views. The inside is roomy and comfortable with beautiful vaulted wood ceilings throughout. The kitchen was well equipped with everything I could think of. The pool is great with a gate that keeps children safe. The terraces with cushioned seating were perfect for lounging. The beds were very comfortable. Nice washer and clothes line. "Laura’s property is truly amazing. The pictures don’t do it justice. The views are spectacular and the pool and garden the perfect place to relax. The house was perfectly clean and has everything you need. Vitiana is a picture perfect Italian mountain village with lots of little alleys to explore. You do need to plan a little bit and buy enough food for a few days if you don’t want to drive down the mountain every day to go to the stores. "Beautiful well appointed flat in the middle of Lucca! Steps away from all of th sites and sounds of the city! Kitchen, terrace, bedrooms /bathrooms were all pristine! Only complaint was contractors on scaffolding right outside the terrace and kitchen windows…..and the elevator was out of service for a 5th floor flat. A pre-arrival notification would have been appreciated as we would have attempted to find an alternate location without the walk up."
