Welcome to The Salt and Sea Cottage, located in Rockport, TX, just three blocks away from the water. This house can accommodate up to eight guests with its four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The cottage is fully equipped with a modern kitchen and a spacious backyard, making it an ideal home away from home for families with kids. You can park your boat or golf carts, and it's located just 0.4 miles away from Rockport Beach.

We like to give our guests their privacy. However, we are local and less than 10 minutes away if you need anything.

Located in the heart of “Old Rockport”, a subdivision known for historical homes and famous Century Live Oak Trees, we welcome you to be our guest! Walking distance to the beach, shopping, dining, and the brand-new Center for the Arts! Come live on vacation!

You will have access to the entire house with the exception of the garage.

Things need attention
The windows shades are too thin, see through, making occupants uneasy. Sliding door lock not working properly, unable to secure door. Front door needs attentions.

Great Host and House, A/C didn't cooperate
Unfortunately the AC gave out the night we arrived. As a Texan I've been to the coast many times over my life, and have had the AC go out where I was staying a half dozen times. The salt air just does havoc on AC systems. The host sent out an AC technician quickly while we headed out to dinner. However, the technician mis-diagnosed the problem. We got back to the house a little late in the evening and the house was warm. The host offered us another (even more luxurious) place to stay, but it was further away, and we had an early morning guided fishing trip planned. We ended up staying with friends and the host issued a refund.

Everything was great. No big issues, but a couple of suggestions. The hot water was only warm and I would suggest toiletries (mainly soap for shower and hand sinks). I would definitely recommend and return.

The property was exactly just how it was advertised. Very clean and very nice inside . Neighborhood was very quiet and the location was excellent ,were just minutes from everything in town .
