Welcome to The Oyster House! Your very own Port A Retreat with a private pool! A rare find in the Port A rental pool…this premium quality, luxurious, modern, and spacious two-story, three-patios, three bedrooms, two-and-a-half-bath house is the quintessential beach home. Enjoy the coastal chic and the carefree outdoor living you envision for your beach getaway. Located in Old Town on a quiet residential side street, The Oyster House is within walking distance of all the restaurants, bars, and shops and a short drive to the iconic Horace Caldwell fishing pier and ship channel. Built for relaxation, outdoor living, and entertainment. It is immediately clear as you step through the privacy gate and see the thoughtful layout of the home and outdoor spaces that you have arrived at your very own beach retreat. We do have the pool serviced twice a week, on Monday and Friday, and we do our best to keep sand out of the pool. Because we are right next to the dunes, you will probably see some sand at the bottom of the pool.
***The golf cart is rented through a local company, Joy Golf Carts. They will reach out to you upon booking and have you sign a waiver, send in a copy of your DL and auto insurance, and provide a CC to keep on file in case of incidentals. The golf cart will be delivered to the house upon check-in. This golf cart is not included in same-day bookings. If you book this less than 48 hours before checking in, the golf cart will have to be manually added at an additional cost.
Beach gear credit is included! As a gift to you, this home offers beach gear credit for you to select top-quality beach gear for your vacation stay. You can choose from a range of items, including bikes, kayaks, paddleboards, boogie boards, and more. Simply select the gear you want for your vacation at least 48 hours before your scheduled check-in date, and VayK Gear will take care of the rest! Please note that a small delivery fee may apply.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
-A two-night minimum stay is required.
-Check-in time is approximate time; housekeeping and maintenance make all attempts to be ready by 4 pm but there is no guarantee.
-STARTER set for guests to include two trash bags, dish soap and two dishwashing pods, one toilet paper roll per bathroom, one paper towel roll, and mini toiletry supplies. Guests SHOULD bring extra amounts of these items as the starter set is for 1 night, and we will not resupply the home.
-Construction is always happening somewhere in Port Aransas; we can't guarantee that you won't hear/see construction, building, or community improvement projects and events during your stay.
-Cable/WIFI is provided as a convenience; Port A does experience outages from time to time. There are no refunds for outages of cable/WIFI or if the city pool is closed for cleaning, repair, or maintenance.
-Please remember that you are on an island; mosquitos/pests can be plentiful several times per year. Our properties are treated by a professional pest control service every month.
CLEANING AND INSPECTION
-We use disinfecting products that meet or exceed CDC performance standards.
-Every property is stocked with bath towels & washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property along with one hand towel per bathroom.
-These complimentary amenities are provided in the property as a convenience until you can go shopping: hand/bath soap, one toilet paper roll per bathroom, one paper towel, two dishwasher pods, two trash bags, and one make-up wipe per bathroom.
-We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your family's arrival.
