Welcome to Sundown Point, your new home away from home! This charming three bedroom, two bathroom condo is a waterfront corner unit. You'll love the open concept common area that offers a great view of the canal from the living and kitchen area before you step out on your private balcony. Relax on the cozy furnishings in the living area or enjoy cooking in the fully equipped kitchen with the family. The three bedrooms are located on the second floor and include two full bathrooms. The sparkling pool and hot tub are close by and you can spend your time in a lounge chair or enjoying the breeze under the gazebo. Make this property your new vacation destination!

The Spinnaker Complex is currently under renovations. However; the parking, pool, boat slips, and docks are still open. Pricing reflects this, and no extra discounts apply. We apologize for the inconvenience.

CLEANING
-CLEAN BED PROMISE: Padre Escapes launders our standardized linen, including every comforter, every sheet, every pillowcase, every towel - EVERY TIME!
-After each stay we replace all towels and linens from our 6100SF laundry facility where they are washed in temps of at least 60sC/140sF, exceeding CDC recommendations.
-Every property is stocked with bath towels and washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property, along with one hand towel per bathroom.
-These starter amenities are provided for your convenience until you can go shopping and are not replenished during your stay: hand/bath soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and a sponge.
-We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your arrival.

Mixed Feelings
We've stayed at The Spinnaker before and had a pleasant experience, but this particular unit had some issues. Upon arrival, we found the temperature to be extremely high, taking a while to cool down. It would have been considerate if the management had pre-cooled the unit, especially during the summer season. Additionally, we noticed the fridge was likely turned off and then turned back on just before our arrival, making it uncomfortably warm. As a result, we stored our food and drinks in ice chests until the next day. Another issue was the lack of direct access to the back dock/canal. We had to go through the pool and then navigate back to our unit, making fishing a hassle. Furthermore, it appears that the property owner/management company doesn't conduct regular maintenance checks. The shower door came off its rails, the shower handle fell off the door, and the showerhead sprayed water sideways, soaking the toilet and floor. I spent almost an hour fixing these problems that weren't my responsibility. The only positive aspect was the comfortable beds and pillows. Overall, our stay was disappointing due to these issues.

Where do I begin? First off... the check-in time states 4 pm... I didn't even get the check in email until a little after 5:10 (have screenshots if you need proof) after contacting the owner multiple times asking when I would be receiving the check in information since we were coming from out of town (nothing like leaving it to the last minute), the dock area is through the pool area that was NEVER communicated until I asked, the pool and hot tub area was filled with construction guys sitting there taking breaks on and off while my family and I tried to swim, the construction guys ended up painting handrails and parking spots and didn't let anyone know or put up wet paint signs until mid day so now we have paint in our vehicle floor board and on multiple people clothes, the parking spot SUCKS if you have anything larger than a compact vehicle or a motorcycle, the "clean towels" were damp when we got there so we ended up having to dry our towels before we could even take a shower, some couple next door was heavily making out and had the lady's top off on the DECK and luckily my dad and their dad always go out and check before letting them go outside with them, there are no rules whatsoever about not feeding any birds or animals on the property yet when you do, you get nasty grams immediately after... It's a horrific place for kids & families wanting to get away... If you're into the construction, rude, and pure disgusting surroundings, book away.

Great location amazing owners
My family and I went to the coast to celebrate my husbands 38th birthday. We wanted to be close enough to the beach we could drive but far enough not to not effected by the traffic. This house was perfect! It was perfectly clean and ready for our arrival. We had one issue that was of no fault of the owners and they still fixed it extremely quickly! I will definitely be staying here again!

Very clean condo and good location
This was probably the cleanest condo we’ve rented. We brought our boat so having a boat slip and boat ramp was important. Beds were comfortable except the sofa bed. We had a petite 20 something sleeping on it and she just slept on the couch after the first night. Things that could be improved upon are the $50 we paid to property manager to park our boat trailer at a site close by closed at 10 pm and we were not given correct information to get in after hours and had to park on the street the first night. Also, we had 8 people and only 6 bath towels. I would recommend to boaters only if you can get there before dark.
