This comfy 2 bedroom/2-bathroom second floor condo is comfortably furnished and has a well-stocked kitchen to suit any chef's needs. Private WIFI network and washer and dryer for your convenience. -Padre Escapes promises to launder every comforter, every sheet, every TIME!
-After every stay we replace all towels & linens (including the comforter, which most people don’t do) with clean towels & linens from our 5500sf laundry facility where they are washed in temps of at least 60sC/140sF, exceeding CDC recommendations.

CLEANING AND INSPECTION
-We use disinfecting products that meet or exceed CDC performance standards.
-Every property is stocked with bath towels & washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property along with one hand towel per bathroom.
-These complimentary amenities are provided in the property as a convenience until you can go shopping: hand/bath soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and a sponge.
-We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your family’s arrival.

Property is rundown, living room couch and loveseat very uncomfortable, skimpy on amenities like toilet paper trash bags laundry soap etc. residents dogs disruptive barking. We had rented another unit at this property four years ago and it was far superior to this unit. Next time we visit padre island we won’t be staying at this venue.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Some of the furniture is a little dated. Some areas could use remodeling (bathtub has some stains... etc.. ). But located in a great location. Pool was nice. Ease of access was accommodating. We would recommend!

By the Beach - Really Nice Place
This property provided all that we needed for our weekend get away to the beach. The condo is across the street from the beach parking lot. A quick 100 yard walk to the beach! The condo itself is in an older building, but it is well maintained and a comfortable. The pool in the courtyard is very inviting. Management/Owner are very responsive to issues (I asked that the front windows get cleaned so we could enjoy the morning sun. They sent their cleaning staff right over and took care of it. We'll be back (planning our next family reunion in a couple of years).

Condo smelled like smoke, was not ready when we got there. AC apparently was broken. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but left after the 1st one. Will never use Padre Escapes again to book a condo.

We really enjoyed the location of the condo and how convenient it was get to get to the beach and other store over the bridge. The down falls to our experience were how filthy the floor was. You couldn't even go without socks before your feet turning black. Extra blankets and pillows had stains all over them. It wouldn't hurt to replace some of the furniture especially for families with small kids like me who constantly tries to open cabinets. Knobs were broke off and shower curtain hook were rusted need to be replaced. The biggest complaint is that the thermostat in the hallways aboce the washer and dryer was constantly dripping onto the floor. So much water was being held in the ceiling. My own child who is not even 1 and barely walking slipped a couple of time and fell on hard tile. It was an inconvenience, dangerous and just annoying. Please fix this before you let someone else stay in Seahorse 207.

Falls short of the expectations
The apartment was nice and very clean, but there a few flows: 1. Windows can’t be opened, and they appear to be locked permanently. It forces you to run AC the whole time, even though there was a constant breeze blowing around the whole time. Nobody cares about the global warming… 2. No recycling at the property! 3. The matrass in sleeper sofa is so old that you can feel the inner springs. Make sure to ask the owner for a new one if you have a guest who need to use the sleeper sofa 4. The bedrooms have inadequate lighting – it is hard to read a book in the evening because of poor lighting conditions 5. The dishwasher is either broken or very old – it is very hard to pull out the lower drawer

The location is great being directly across the street from beach access. Access to the pool and the patio with multiple grills was really nice. All the supplies were there and you could choose gas or charcoal. The condo is run down and old. The ac drain was plugged and had a constant drip into the hallway that required attention. You could tell that this wasn't the first time it had happened as the ceiling cover and the base board were warped from water. The management company responded quickly and fixed the leak but that was it. There was a nice layer of dust/sand on the floor when we got there so you could tell only a broom had been used during the prior cleaning. The bathroom door had a towel rod on it but as soon as we put a towel on it, it pulled right out of the hallow door. That repair took 2 tries by the management company. Plus you could see the previous wall color under the current paint/texture. The place was fine but there is no attention to detail. All the company people were very nice, fixed our problems as quickly as possible and sent specialists for each fix. I probably won't stay in this unit again, but another of Padres Escapes properties would be just fine.
