Welcome to your dream vacation escape in Port A at Sandy Shores! This newly renovated (Sept 2023) condo has EVERYTHING you need.

Located within the Sea Sands Condos, this rental offers a spacious bedroom with a comfortable king-sized bed. Additionally, there is a pull-out couch in the living room for extra sleeping space. The kitchen has granite counters, stainless appliances, and is stocked with the essentials to cook a great meal. One of the highlights of this rental is its proximity to the beach, allowing guests to easily walk to the fun in the sand. Moreover, being golf cart friendly adds to the convenience and flexibility for exploration and transportation. Guests at Sea Sands can use the Coral Cay boardwalk to travel back and forth to the beach.

Please keep in mind that since you are on an island, there may be a lot of mosquitoes and other pests at certain seasons of the year. Every month, a professional pest control agency treats our properties. 🦟 😷

Please be aware that because Port Aransas is a unique coastal community, cable and Wi-Fi connectivity might be unpredictable. Thank you for acknowledging that we have no control over these services. Service interruptions will not qualify for any discounts or reimbursements.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT TIMES: Check-in is at 4pm and check-out is at 10am. While we try to go above and beyond to accommodate our guests, we cannot guarantee early check-ins or late departures. This is to allow our cleaning crew ample time to make sure the property is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before and after your stay.

ACCESS CODE: We have a lock at our property so you won't need to go to an office and pick up keys. This code will be a part of the check-in instructions sent 30 minutes prior to your arrival. When you get in the area you can go straight to the property, unpack, relax and enjoy!

The house comes stocked with dishes, glasses, utensils, cookware, linens and bath towels. There is a coffee maker. Hand/bath soap, shampoo & conditioner, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and a sponge are among the basic items that are conveniently available on the property until you are ready to go shopping.

SELF CATERING: All of our properties are self-catering. No maid or towel service is provided during your stay.

GUEST VERIFICATION:
To ensure a smooth and secure stay, we require the primary guest listed on the reservation to complete a simple screening process within 48 hours of booking confirmation. Please note that your reservation is not confirmed until these steps are completed.

Once verified, and prior to check-in, guests will be asked to sign a Rental Agreement that includes:
- Agreeing to our rental terms and conditions.
- Providing a valid government-issued ID and a matching credit card before check-in.
- Paying a non-refundable $50 damage waiver. The damage waiver provides coverage for accidental damage during your stay, as long as it is reported prior to your check-out.

The damage waiver covers accidental damage that may occur during your stay. To ensure coverage, all damage must be reported promptly while you’re still at the property. We understand there is normal wear and tear at houses but should anything accidentally break or get stained during your stay please just let us know. Thank you!

SUGGESTED ITEMS TO BRING: Beach towels, extra paper goods (toilet paper, facial tissue and paper towels), extra pillows if you wish to sleep with more than one, coffee and coffee filters, spices/seasoning, bathing soap and shampoo, extra dish soap, extra trash bags, suntan lotion/sun block and beach gear.

In the house, we provide a detailed guest book, including some of our favorite things to do around Port Aransas.

Peaceful but needs attention
While the property and unit #114 was clean, the unit smelled musty. The bathroom sink was very clogged up. The couch was stained and dirty, we brought extra sheets to cover them. The patio chairs had not been cleaned, I had to wipe them down several times. Instructions from the email confirmation on how to enter and how to connect to internet were incorrect but we found the proper instructions and the office called us back promptly to explain how to unlock the door. These are minor issues and hopefully will be corrected for future guests. Overall it was a nice unit for the two of us, and will welcome the opportunity to stay again. We did have the rather large larvae’s in the unit on the last day of our stay, how they got in is beyond me. I think it was because of the weather. Bugs in Texas are always a problem.
