Beach Views and Cozy

Relax on the beach! Unwind in the beach breeze on the balcony of this charming third story condo viewing a sunrise over the beach and the Gulf. Enjoy the same beautiful views from all windows inside the condo - even relaxing in bed. This unit is best suited for a couple or small family as it is an efficiency size studio; it is not suitable for four adults.

BEGINNING 03/24/25, THE ENTIRE POOL AREA WILL BE CLOSED FOR APPROXIMATELY TWO WEEKS. The pool, hot tub and pool deck are getting a makeover!

Beds include one King size bed and a Queen size sofa sleeper. This studio has a fully equipped kitchen, including a full size refrigerator.

The beach is only a block away and a very short stroll to the sand and surf. The complex provides free WiFi in the club house and on the gazebo next to the pool. There is also a business center on site. For more adventure, go fishing in Packery Channel or on Bob Hall Pier. Enjoy the pool and hot tub through 03/23/25; the area closes for refurbishment 3/24/25. There is a 24 hour exercise center on site.

This unit has free WiFi and one dedicated parking space. There is no elevator in any of the buildings in this condominium complex.

Wonderful Stay
This was a lovely condo, beautifully decorated with a bit of an actual view of the beach. The owner made the check-in/check-out process very simple. The description of the condo is accurate. You can definitely get your heart rate up climbing the stairs but the stay is worth it. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Getaway
Super clean and fresh studio apartment with lots of nearby activities. Great views of the water from the top floor balcony. It’s a perfect location away from the Port A crowds.

The condo was perfect for the 2 of us! This has been the cleanest rental that we have stayed in on the island. It is so cozy & the location is PERFECT! We brought our UTV and there was room to park the truck and trailer. Gabby was easy to get ahold of and very helpful! We will absolutely stay in this rental again!

Clean and close to the beach
The unit is small but nice and clean. It is a 5 minute walk or 1 minute drive to the beach. We were provided with plenty of towels, linens and kitchen supplies. My only complaint was sofa bed. It was really uncomfortable.

Our "Happy Place"
We have become regulars over the years, and hope to return for many more. Laura and Gaby are great. When I couldn't find the listing during COVID, I reached out to Laura, and she graciously allowed us to stay. My step-mom had passed recently, and it was our 30th anniversary, so we definitely needed an escape. When we arrived, there were new linens (so it does look a little different from the pics, fyi) and hand sanitizer waiting on us. As always, it was just what we needed, and such a comfort. It was great to come up for a breath! :)

Great but..
Everything was great except for there are no curtains on the windows only blinds, and there are street lamps right outside so it lights up the whole condo which made it very difficult to sleep. We ended up putting up towels over the blinds in the bedroom area to help block out the light. Also the air conditioner is set on a schedule which means that at like 2in the morning it adjust the temp up way higher than our normal comfortable temp... Which would wake us up and we would have to go turn it down. Other than that great place to stay. And the owners were wonderful.

Delightful as always
This place is our "happy place", and we are becoming regulars. You'll see earlier reviews by me listed here if you scroll down, but a couple of updates: a new thermostat! Yay! A supereasy and nice one, too - I think it's called a "Nest." Very nice upgrade. However, heads up that the weekend we stayed, the whirlpool on the property was not working, so if that matters to you, you might want to check into it before making a reservation. We missed it, but still had a great time. Laura and Gaby were awesome as always - very gracious and kind, and even got me flowers for my 50th birthday. :) If you check around, you'll also find that this place is a great value. Our weekend was delightful, and we look forward to many more.

Almost fun getaway.
The size of condo (studio), was a bit on the small side. The parking was a nightmare since there was construction on the site of the condo and had to park two and a half buildings away and walk. It was hit or miss finding a parking stall that was not reserved. Toilet paper was also an issue. When we arrived late Friday evening I used the bathroom and saw that there was just a few sheets of tissue paper left. I thought there’s gotta be some more under the sink or in the linen closet. I was wrong. Had to make a trip to the Padre store to buy some more. A bit of an inconvenience but better than nothing. On another note the flight of stairs was some thing else to consider. I should have done some more research. Vrbo Laura Hein was very helpful and so was her assistant Gaby.

Tasteful, Thoughtful, Tidy, Tranquil
Words I would use to describe this place are tasteful, thoughtful, tidy, and tranquil. Tasteful - Honestly, this place is a lot cuter in person than in pictures. Either it was professionally decorated, or someone really has a knack for decorating. Great attention to detail and making the place seem spacious, as well as numerous accents and design elements that "fit" together. It was charming. Thoughtful - Great care has been taken to think of details that make a stay more pleasant, from hooks to hang wet things to nice kitchen utensils, to wifi, to scented soaps and cute baskets with extra towels, I could tell someone had been thinking of what would make a stay more comfortable. Tidy - Everything was well organized (and labeled) so it was easy to find things, and furnishings were cute but also "beach friendly." Note that this complex is older, so there are realities that go along with that (think breezeways that are a little dirty and show age, popcorn ceilings, glass in common areas that is a little foggy from age), but the unit itself was clean and updated. It felt streamlined, simple, and "just so." Tranquil - Although this complex is older, we love it and will purpose to stay here from now on. The walk to the beach (on a sidewalk) is short and there isn't development between the complex and the beach, so it still feels close. Plus, it's on the southern end of development, so to the right is just dunes and prairie. It doesn't feel like people are on top of you, and you can drive on the beach til you get away from folks. Plus, we really enjoy the amenities the complex offers. And though it is an older complex, it is well maintained. As for the unit, it was so peaceful. It's so sunny during the day, and the high ceilings make it feel more spacious. You can see the ocean (at an angle) while eating at the table or lying in bed, and the TV is bigger than pictured, so it's fun to lie in bed and watch TV with the ocean in the background. Although the place is small, it feels light, airy, spacious, and peaceful. Such a happy little place! Our only negatives were the shower head with no water pressure, and the buttons on the AC that were difficult to operate (you had to push them just so to make them work). In spite of these annoyances, however, we would still rate the place a five in light of everything else. We will be back!

Perfect location to the beach
This is a great location to walk to the beach. I have stayed in other locations in North Padre, but if you can avoid having to buy a pass for your vehicle, required at most spots, you should do it. The walk to the beach from the condo was 5 minutes. The condo was a top floor unit, meaning up two flights up There are three floors including the ground floor, so this one is just up two. No problems with the stairs and nobody above you. Very quiet unit, freezing cold AC so do not set it too low, even in summer. If you tire of the beach, very nice pool in the complex. The unit is as described, a studio, but large king bed and fold out sofa. No issues with appliances and unit well equipped with vacuum cleaner and brooms. I will definitely come back to this condo in the future. Unit very clean upon arrival. Parking just outside of the building, assigned parking spot near door.
