We would highly recommend 1906 lodge to anyone looking for a cute B&B in Coronado. The property was so clean, the breakfast and happy hour were delicious, and the staff were so friendly & attentive. We loved our stay & can’t wait to come back!

Had a great weekend at the 1906 Lodge. The staff was friendly and helpful, the courtyard and fountain were beautiful and peaceful, and we were able to walk everywhere! They had beach towels and chairs available at no extra cost. Our room was clean and spacious. Recommend!

This place is wonderful! The staff are so warm and welcoming and do a great job making guests feel comfortable and at home. I will definitely come back and highly recommend if you're looking for a charming place to stay in Coronado. The location is also very convenient and close to the Hotel del Coronado, conference center, dining, and the beach.

Excellent breakfast and happy hour. The bed and pillows were comfortable and it was relatively quiet considering a busy street is nearby. The property has beautiful gardens and lots of spaces to be in besides your room. Next time, though, I would book a garden view room rather than an historic hotel room. Our room was just fine in the historic hotel, but the people we were traveling with had garden view for the same price and it had a fireplace, a jacuzzi, more space in general and a balcony overlooking the central garden courtyard. The property is an easy walking distance to the beach, the Del, and many, many restaurants. We had a great stay.

The 1906 lodge is a charming property. The staff is professional and friendly - they go out of their way to help with requests. They catered to our dietary restrictions at breakfast, and offered a homemade hot fresh breakfast everyday with an entree, fruit cup, and baked goods. When we checked into the lodge I was offered an upgrade to a gorgeous room with a living room, fireplace in the bedroom along with kitchenette and a large tub in the bathroom, along with luxurious robes. The Lodge has lovely decor and was dressed up for Christmas while we stayed. They have an adorable adopted guest, a little grey cat who sometimes sits on the front porch. This property couldn't be closer to Orange Avenue which has all the shops and restaurants you could want. Its nice to stay on Coronado Island, because it's convenient to get to downtown San Diego but you don't have to be in the middle of the downtown traffic (well, not in December anyway.) I would certainly stay here again if I have the opportunity to do so.
