Here are some FAQs:

Do you provide bikes?
- We have 2 adult bikes available in the outside closet.

Do beds come with sheets? If not, what sizes do we need to bring?
- Yes, sheets & towels will be provided for your stay, ready for you to set up when you arrive. One thing that we do not provide are beach towels.

Are dish towels/paper towels/hand soap included?
- Yes, Yes, & Yes. The unit is provided with a complimentary starter kit containing dish soap, dishwasher pods, a new paper towel roll, 2 kitchen trash bags, hand soaps, a new roll of toilet paper for each bathroom along with travel-size soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion.

I see that you do not charge a pet fee. Do we still need to let you know if we are bringing a pet?
- Yes, We have multiple pet related items that we like to put out for our furry friends including pet blankets for the couch & different sized food bowls so knowing ahead of time if you are coming with a pet, and what breed is very helpful.

- Do you offer a highchair, crib, or pack'n play?
We do not have a highchair or crib, but we do have a pack'n-play in the unit.

Are there beach chairs/umbrella?
- No beach chairs or umbrella but the is a beach wagon

Type of coffee maker?
- 1 regular coffee pot & 1 French Press

Is the pool heated?
- Yes

How long will the pool be opened for?
- That has not been decided yet, but we expect it to be open & heated until some time in October.

Is there a washer/dryer
- Yes

- Yes. We provide 2 laundry pods

Early Beach Visit
Absolutely love this property and area. They work well for my wife and I and our Lab. Everything is within walking distance. 3 min to the beach. 3 min to the Lighthouse. And restaurants near by. Great place to just check out for a bit, relax and unwind. The property amenities are coming along with the pool and fitness room now open.

Everything about this property was fantastic. The home was beautiful and very clean. Great location - we didn’t end up driving anywhere throughout our stay because there is so much that is walkable. The owners were very accommodating and provided so many thoughtful touches that made our stay very easy. We will certainly be coming back!

Superb Corolla Location
We were thrilled to stay at Salty Kisses for a week and couldn't have found a prettier, cleaner, more comfortable property in Corolla. J-P was a super host, helping us with directions on our way down. You're a stones throw from so many great spots, especially the BEAUTIFUL Corolla Village beach. We can't wait to stay at this property again, we were so happy there.

Ideal Location
Situated a block from the beach and the Corolla Lighthouse, this lovely house was the perfect location for us. We walked every morning on the beach with our dog to watch the sun rise. Lots of fun shops and restaurants were within walking distance. We’ve stayed in many areas over the years and this charming house in Corolla Light is by far our favourite!

BEST VRBO EVER!!!
Amazing.. we could not believe all the little extras that we had here. They thought about everything we would need even for our pups Max and Ellie! Very Dog friendly.. close beach access (walking distance) and decorated like something out of a magazine!! This was the BEST VRBO we’ve ever stayed at and our Host Jean Paul was always just a phone call/text away! WE WILL BE BACK!

Short but very sweet stay
This house was perfect for what we needed. A house close to the beach and a brand new and modern house. It is very close to restaurants and shops, as well as some lovely walks. It is part of a construction site as the community hasn't been completed yet so as long as your fine with that, then it's a great place to stay! The house was also very clean and comfortable too.

In spite of a difficult weather situation and a pup with dementia which cut our stay from 7 days to 3 full days the property, the host and hostess and accommodations could not have been better. This was our second time staying here. Walk in and you are ready to go with everything needed for a great week at the beach. It is clean, well appointed and no stairs to navigate. Staff is available but unobtrusive. Love this property!

Quiet Getaway
Stayed with family of 3 and one small dog for a week in June 2023. Cottage on beach access (beach parking pass included), parking space right in front, walking distance to many Corolla spots-beach, pool, lighthouse, historical park, horse tour, mimi golf, bakery/coffee. Cottage had free wifi, tv in every room, pictures are of cottage exactly what you get, 2 bikes and beach wagon with outaide shower available and grill. Very comfortable and quiet. Would return anytime.

Salty Kisses in Corolla, NC
Excellent property in OBX. J-P is a wonderful host and communicator. The property is centrally located to all amenities in Corolla and has easy access to the beach. Very clean and comfortable property. It is important to mention that this property is located adjacent to an active construction site (as of April 7, 2023). This is not a big deal and did not disrupt our stay, but it is worth mentioning. We would stay there again because of the comfort, cleanliness, and convenience.

Great stay!
My husband and I and our dog Luna stayed here for the weekend. It was the perfect location for what we wanted-a relaxing, comfortable, get-away weekend. We loved being in this part of Corolla, especially in the off-season. No traffic, easy access to uncrowded beaches for driving and hanging out. The cottage's location near Historic Corolla Park was perfect. We could walk across the road to see the sunset on the sound as well as climb the lighthouse for amazing views. A cute shopping/restaurant area is in walking distance which was perfect for our morning coffee and bakery haul.The cottage had everything we needed-including dog bowls! The living room was very comfy for relaxing and movie watching. The electric fireplace is a nice addition. Everything was immaculate. We also loved being able to see the lighthouse while sitting on the front patio. Highly recommend!

Just about perfect!
We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Property was pristine. Location great. Check-in and managers top notch. The only downside was sheets were not provided. Thank goodness my wife saw a review on our way there and we stopped and bought some. The pool in the complex was not finished yet. However, despite these two minimal issues, the place was so otherwise perfect, I could easily give it 5 stars. (I’d definitely come back.)

Nice but could have been better
This property is right by the beach but it didn’t have all the necessities that are required for the stay. They didn’t have sheets or pillowcases which is not what you remember to bring while on a relaxing vacation. I requested the owner and he arranged it from somewhere the next day. So we basically slept without sheets and pillowcases for one night. No extra toilet paper too😟😟😟
