This place is even more stunning in person than the already breathtaking photos. The house is magnificent!! We spent our days cycling between the pool (oh my goodness, the pool was incredible!), the hot tub, and the beach; mixing in some relaxation time on the balcony where we were entertained by the osprey, horses and dolphins. The ocean views from the balconies, bedrooms and kitchen/living areas were unbelievable…you are immersed in spectacular ocean views at nearly all times. This place made for the absolute trip of a lifetime. We have found our spot. Cannot wait to go back!!! And cannot recommend it highly enough!!

Definitely recommend

The Seashine was a beautiful week-long get away for our extended family including our 8 month old son and even our 1.5 year old doodle. The location right on the beach is stunning. House is clean and comfortable.

Awesome house at an awesome place

This house was awesome! We’ve been coming to OBX for years and this was the best place we’ve stayed. The house was perfect with tons of amenities. The kitchen is well appointed and tons of extras. We will be coming back for sure and this house is where we will be staying!

A Wonderful Week

The house was well appointed, very comfortable, and clean. We enjoyed everything about our time in Carova. This property is secluded and best appreciated by families that don’t need to go shopping very often.

Amazing!

Beautiful home and the views are spectacular! My dream came true when we saw the wild horses in the yard several times. Very relaxing week.

Stunning Location

We had a lovely 4 week stay at the Seashine house. The location was amazing and gorgeous, directly oceanfront with a private walk to the beach. The wild horses walked the yard and beach almost everyday!

Serene & Relaxation

We had a wonderful time with our family. Our gradchildren were in AWE with the horses and the ocean! We enjoyed the games and puzzles. The house was very well equiped with everything you could need . It was very relaxing. I will definitely stay here again.

The house is clean and beautiful. The owner was very responsive. And the beach and ocean is great. There are a lot of jeeps who camp out on the beach during the day, so although its the off-road part of the beach, the beach is populated with vehicles. We had AWD which means you should only travel at low-tide.

The property was absolutely amazing. The house the pool the views the gazebo the private beach access was all amazing. The Host was very attentive. I would rent this house every year for the rest of my life if I could. We saw wild horses right on the property dolphins sea turtles. Driving on the beach to get to the house was also an amazing experience. I don't have a single negative thing to say about this house or the host except thank you.

We had a great time here. The The house was beautiful and the bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and all of my family loved it and had a great time. The furniture was very comfortable and two of the bedrooms had an adjacent bathroom equipped with a jetted bathtub which a few of us enjoyed. It was great having access to the beach through the gazebo and walkway attached to it. It was very private there and although there were other people on the beach it was by no means crowded and we had a vast area to ourselves. The pool was excellent and with the weather so nice we spent a lot of time at the ocean and in the swimming pool. The host was nice and was very responsive. We had a portion of a day where the electricity went out on the whole island and we contacted the host to see what was going on and she got back to us right away to let us know what was happening. We had a few other times where we had to contact her and she was always prompt and responsive. If you plan to come down make sure that you have a good 4 x 4 vehicle because you are driving a good six or 7 miles I think on the beach to get to the property. You generally have to drive about 15 to 25 miles an hour depending on the beach conditions so it can be a good 45 minutes to get to the home.

Wonderful Time In Carova Beach!

Last week we had the privilege of having a week of vacation at The Seashine. Accommodations were great! Host responsive!! Highly recommend you checking into this property. Our first OBX experience but I'm positive not the last. This property has great access to beach and is set up to make your vacation time enjoyable! You won't be disappointed 🙂

Stunning home!

Absolutely gorgeous home on the ocean! This home was perfect for a family gathering for my dad's 85th birthday. On the cold rainy day no one minded being "stuck" inside b/c the house is so large and open with huge windows looking right over the ocean. My dad had a blast driving the 10 miles in on the sand-a lifetime first!

Great Getaway!

Lovely home on the oceanfront with a great layout. Wonderful windows all along the east and west sides provide great views of the beach and morning sunrises and evening sunsets. The wild horses walk right along the beach in front of the house. Enjoyed the amenities and features of the home. The nooks were perfect for reading or playing games. It's a wonderful spot on the 4 x4!

Love, love, love.

This property was an absolute dream. The house was gorgeous and had every amenity you could think of. The location and the view of the ocean was breathtaking. We saw dolphins and the horses came right up to the house on more than one occasion! Even the beach driving was a fun experience that I already miss. Will happily book at the Seashine in the years to come.

The house was amazing! The view was better than in the pictures.

We really enjoyed the house. The set up of the house gave everybody a little privacy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything. I loved the extra towels and stuff that was provided. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. The views we woke up to every morning was absolutely priceless. Loved the wild horses that came up to the house.
