Accessible by 4 x 4 vehicle only! The T-House is tucked into the live oak woods for peace and privacy yet is just 600 feet to the beach! Almost to the Virginia line, 11 miles from the end of the paved road, you will enjoy all that Carova offers including sandy beaches, wild horses, and warm, starry nights.

Ground Level: Exterior amenities include the hot tub, enclosed outside shower and gas grill.

Mid Level: Offers four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Queen Bedroom with semi-private master bathroom (second door to the hallway), Queen Bedroom, Bedroom with 2 Singles, Bedroom with 2 Bunk Sets and a full hall bathroom. Laundry area with washer and dryer and shaded decks.

Top Level: Great room with flat-screen TV/DVD, dining room seating 8 with deck access, nook with game table seating and the kitchen with counter seating for 5. Queen Bedroom with semi-private master bathroom (second door to the living areas). The upper level features wide sun decks with picnic table, plenty of deck furniture and a crow's nest deck for a bird's eye ocean view.

Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

4-WD REQUIRED - This home is only accessible by high clearance Four-Wheel-Drive vehicles such as a Jeep Cherokee, Ford Explorer, etc. You will be driving on the beach, over dune lines and in soft sand.

Carova Beach is convenient for families with children and older folks because it is not necessary to walk to the beach. A walk over the dune or a 30 second drive in your four wheel drive vehicle brings you out to the beach where you can park right on the beach and enjoy the luxury of having all your beach goodies at your fingertips and enjoy the day! Wild horses roam the area as well as fox, deer, and lots of waterfowl on the sound.

Beach Parking Passes are required to park on the beach from the last Saturday in April through the first Saturday in October. You do not need a pass to drive on the beach or park at the home. Two 4x4 parking passes are included with each 4x4 vacation home with a $50 cash deposit (refunded when passes are returned). Passes can be picked up at our Corolla Office (1023 Ocean Trail) during business hours. If more than two passes are needed, there are a limited number of additional available parking passes each week that can be purchased from Currituck County. The cost for a 4x4 parking pass is $50 and can be purchased online, but has to be picked up in person at the Corolla Visitor Center. Please double check Corolla Visitor Center business hours when planning your trip.
