There is a deck with a forest and a pond in the backyard, and a short walk through the forest to a creek. Very peaceful, with things to do in the area."

Rudy communicated a few days ahead of time about an issue with the fridge and provided coolers and ice for us to use. "This charming home was lovely for our visit to the Catskill Mountains. The stream is right outside the door and the hot tub was relaxing. We appreciated the updated kitchen and bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and we had plenty of towels and other essentials. There are good local restaurants five minutes away in the town Phoenicia."

"Fine, elegant, house. A great departure from one’s daily life. Great layout but could use more lighting. There were old quirks about the house but it made it more unique. Some doors don’t shut and will rattle when windows are open. Could use a griddle or larger pans/more baking sheets. The property is gorgeous and the crisp air was refreshing.
