"The stay at the hotel is a trip that I arranged for a mom me-time, time to have some respite and quiet for R&R. When searching for a hotel, I made sure that it checks the following condition: located in Rockland county, have a queen/king sized bed, has a bar and restaurant in hotel, and the hotel room to have a bath tub. "I stayed 1 night. Pricing was reasonable. My room, 429, had a continuous sound that almost sounded like someone snoring next door. But it was from something mechanical and was there throughout the stay. Bed was comfortable, and the room very clean, but that sound annoying. Self serve breakfast was average. "This resort exceeded my expectations!! The property is beautiful, immaculate, and well maintained. The staff (every single one!) was cordial, personal, friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay luxurious. Clay restaurant was beautiful— think ski lodge meets Michelin starred restaurant. Cozy, and comfortable. Wine list was somewhat surprising. I would have liked to have seen more local vineyards and distilleries represented. "

"Its a very spacious hotel near the highway. Lots of rooms and a huge lounge area near a bar. The headbord fabric, in the room I was staying, is peeling. It need to be replaced. I stayed for one night. So far, I'd stay there again. "

"If I had a low-slung car, I wouldn't have been able to get to the hotel, the driveway is super steep and it snowed a lot. So here's a tip: if there's a forecast of snow, don't go in a low-slung car."

"An unexpected stay of two weeks, and it was great. Everyone from the front desk to the housekeepers and the breakfast room staff were charming and always welcoming. The service and going the extra mile was truly exceptional. The common areas are elegant and wonderful for catching up on your reading. Some rooms are already remodeled, others upcoming. Ours was older but still clean, comfortable (oh the bed!) and roomy. Definitely on the stay again, and recommend list. "
