Fortunie -Provencalisches cottage, renovated, large pool, quiet, at the Vineyard

Enjoy the tranquility in a newly renovated Provencal farmhouse in the middle of the vineyards. The house is divided into two apartments with 85 m² (Cabrol) and 60m² (Fortunie). The property is characterized by a large swimming pool (10m x 4m), a separate entrance, a private terrace separated and the lovingly designed private garden area. All of this can be found in a large altbewachsenen plot (2700 m²). The quiet location ensures complete recovery in a southern ambiance.
"Fortunie" is located in the Gard Provencale two km outside of Goudargues, the 'Venice of the Gard's Provencale'. You will find many restaurants / cafes, shops and all necessary medical care (in German). There are also a variety of cultural activities: opera in Orange, jazz concerts in Cornillon, classical music concerts throughout Gard Provencale, Papal Palace in Avignon, Pont du Gard. The well equipped kitchen is ideal for cooking. The active leisure has whitewater / biking, horseback riding, caves, marked hiking trails to choose from. The contemplative can choose between treats, wine tasting, outdoor theater / music, exhibitions (6 painters in the village and a potters) and pleasant idleness. Pets are welcome for a small extra charge.
In addition, a diverse local cultural activities right on your doorstep (z. B. in the open-air theater in Cornillon in the ruined castle) and in the Vallee Ceze (z. B. Jazz Festival, Spanish and Latin American evenings).
Who loves sport and exercise, here is a fragmentary activity range without end: Cycling as Dörfererkundungstour- or mountainous challenge. Canoeing as white water sports in the nearby Ardeche, as a family outing or dreamy river exploration in the Valle de la Ceze. Rock climbing than hiking or increase to with the use of ropes and hooks and leaders. Manege riding, trail riding, riding lessons on the doorstep. Well organized hiking on any difficulty level with much or little solitude. Innumerable caving provide dramatic impressions each other by surprise. Especially the months of April / May and September / October are a great way to explore the good designated trails.

Great Vacation
We had such a great time there, Simon the Owner, a really nice, down to earth guy, we love him! Definitely a great place to stay, the pool was nice too. We come back asap.

Wir kennen Goudarges und Umgebung seit 30 Jahren von unseren Campingurlauben und sind froh ein so schönes und angenehmes Domizil gefunden zu haben, das unseren bisherigen Wohnwagen ersetzt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder! Danke an Simon für seine Gastfreundschaft.

Wir haben uns direkt bei der Ankunft wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung war gepflegt und geräumig, die Küche gut ausgestattet, die Lage sehr ruhig. Im gemütlichen Gartenbereich konnten wir ideal abschalten und den Tag nach einem Ausflug entspannt ausklingen lassen Oder wir sind einfach noch mal in den schönen Pool zum Abkühlen gesprungen. Eine gute Idee ist auch der Faltpavillon auf der Terrasse. So hatten wir den ganzen Tag angenehm Schatten und konnten zu jeder Tageszeit draußen essen. Die zentrale Lage bietet Möglichkeiten für Aktivitäten aller Art. Ob Wandern, Schwimmen, Höhlenbesichtigungen, Städtetouren oder nur gemütlich über einen der lebhaften Wochenmärkte bummeln… es gibt genügend Abwechslung und doch hatten wir nicht den Eindruck, dass hier alles touristisch überlaufen ist. Genau das hatten wir gesucht! Ein großes, herzliches Dankeschön an Simon und seine Mutter für die tolle Gastfreundschaft und Betreuung. Wir sehen uns bestimmt wieder in ‚Fortunie‘

Très sympa, on s'y sent comme chez nous. Tout est pensé jusqu'au papier ménage. La maison est pratique, agréable... tranquillité assurée, chant des oiseaux, dépaysement et on se ressource. A refaire en ce qui nous concerne!

Ein nettes, ruhig gelegenes, voll ausgestattetes Ferienhaus. Sehr schöner und sauberer Pool! Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt und gut erholt. Der Vermieter spricht Deutsch und ist nebenan immer erreichbar. Empfehlenswert für Familien, die etwas weg vom touristischen Trubel Urlaub machen wollen und doch alle Sehenswürdigkeiten und Aktivitäten der Ardèche Region in kurzer Zeit erreichen möchten.

Ein toller Familienurlaub...der nächste Aufenthalt ist schon gebucht!
Eine wunderbare, entspannte Zeit in der jedes Familienmitglied auf seine Kosten kam... mal Chillen und Toben am Pool...mal Höhlenbesichtigung und kulturelle Höhepunkte in Orange, Avignon etc. ... mal Schwimmen in der Cèze/ Ardèche oder ein Tagesausflug ans Mittelmeer... Ein ganz großes Dankeschön auch an Simon Krieger und Familie, die uns so freundlich empfangen haben und allzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite standen.

Vakantiewoning Fortunie voldeed aan alle beloftes en verwachtingen! Knusse en zeer schone woning, van alle gemakken voorzien en met een prachtige tuin eromheen met mooi zwembad. Het warme welkom (met inderdaad rosé en olijven in de koelkast) en de uitstekende tips voor activiteiten in de omgeving door Simon en zijn familie hebben ervoor gezorgd dat wij een heerlijke week hebben gehad. We hadden graag langer gebleven! Fam. Jongen

Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt!
Die Wohnung und die Umgebung waren rundum schön. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir freundlich begrüßt und konnten uns über Wein und Oliven aus der Umgebung freuen. Die Wohnung war sauber und gut ausgestattet. Durch die offene und herzliche Art von Frau Krieger und ihrem Sohn, die zur Zeit unseres Aufenthaltes vor Ort waren, haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Durch die Nähe der Familie Krieger konnten auftretende Fragen sofort geklärt werden. Wie z.B. ein Wasserrohrbruch unten im Dorf. Wir wurden umgehend informiert, warum wir zur Zeit kein Wasser hatten und wie lange es voraussichtlich dauern sollte. Die Wohnung reichte von der Größe vollkommen für uns ( 2 Erwachsene und ein Kind ). Wir haben alle Mahlzeiten auf unser urigen Terrasse eingenommen und genossen. Der Pool mit seinen ausreichenden Liegen und Sonnenschirmen lud immer zu einer Erfrischung ein, auch noch mal kurz nach einem Tagesausflug. Wir befanden uns mitten in der Natur, waren aber auch schnell an interessanten Orten. Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir sicher nicht zum letzten Mal dort Urlaub gemacht haben. Provence und doch "fast wie zuHause"
Das erste Mal seit Jahren wieder mal Frankreich und dann so ein Glück. Schon die Ankunft zeigte, dass wir willkommen waren. Wein und Oliven standen gut gekühlt im Kühlschrank. Simon Krieger kümmerte sich um alles! Von Tipps zu den interessantesten Sehenswürdigkeiten und zu tollen Stränden bis zu Fahrradrouten einschließlich ausgeliehener Radkarte. Auch die Buchung der Tickets für die Caverne du Pont D'Arc (Tipp: Unbedingt ansehen und mit Besuch des Pont D'Arc verbinden) und des Tisches im La Galantine ("total lecker - aber nur französische Menuekarten") hat Simon für uns übernommen - das ist ein Super-Service. Unsere Empfehlung: Unbedingt die "Carrières de Lumière" in Les-Beaux-de-Provence anschauen - für uns eines der Highlights. Wenn Sie dorthin fahren: Bringen Sie Zeit für eine Besichtigung der Gegend mit und verbinden Sie den Besuch mit ein paar Stunden in Arles. Nicht nur die Umgebung unserer FeWo Fortunie war toll (Spaziergang nach Cornillon und abendlicher Rotwein in Goudargues), auch das Ausklingen des Urlaubstags auf der gemütlichen Terasse machte den Urlaub perfekt. Die Wohnung ist wirklich gut ausgestattet, das Schlafzimmer kühl (wenn man wie empfohlen die Fensterläden tagsüber geschlossen hielt). Fernsehen und Internet können wir nicht beurteilen, da wir davon während des Urlaubs eine Auszeit genommen haben. Es war rundherum gut - deshalb klar 5 Sterne. Wenn wir noch einmal die Provence besuchen, dann sicherlich wieder zu Kriegers! Ach ja, und wie immer war es nicht nötig, Französisch sprechen zu können - wir sind vor allem Dank Simon Krieger gut mit Deutsch und Englisch klargekommen. Klaus und Gudrun E.

Wir kommen wieder!
Empfehlenswerte Ferienwohnung mit gut ausgestatteter Küche, alles sauber und gepflegt. Wunderbarer Pool. Viele Ruhe und Erholung. Gut geeignet für Ausflüge -ins Tal der Cèze mit vielen kleinen schönen Orten -an die Ardèche und Ihre Nebenflüsse -die Rhône -in die fernere Umgebung der Cévennen und der Montagne ardechoise. -in größere Städte wie z.B. nach Avignon, Orange, Nîmes je (innerhalb einer knappen Stunde mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen) Einkaufsmöglichkeit (Intermarché in Cornillon) ganz in der Nähe, auch gute Lokale in kurzer Entfernung (Goudargues). Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Gastfreundschaft der Vermieterfamilie Krieger und uns für die gute Betreuung und die guten Tips (Wein & Lokale) bedanken. Leider konnten wir (2 Personen) dieses Jahr nur 1 Woche Urlaub im "Fortunie" machen, kommen aber nächstes Jahr für 2 Wochen wieder! Dann vielleicht auch mit unseren beiden erwachsenen Kindern, die im separaten Wohnzimmer auf dem dortigen Schlafsofa für 1 Woche schlafen und mit uns Urlaub in dieser wunderschönen Gegend machen wollen.

Entspannung pur
...besser hätten wir und nicht entspannen können - lesen, Fahrrad fahren, ausruhen ... auch unser Hund war zufrieden. Die Wohnung ist klasse, der Pool könnte fast schöner nicht sein.
