OVERVIEW
Dolphin Shores is a small, modern absolute waterfront accommodation overlooking Port Stephens. Located right on the water along the most popular stretch of waterfront in the Bay known as the "Golden Mile" by locals - enjoy your own piece of paradise. This is a modern and fresh appealing ground-floor apartment. Its finishes and furnishing are of a high standard and would appeal to the particular traveler. It is centrally located in the Port Stephens for all tourist attractions and just 3 minute's drive in each direction are the main shopping haunts - Salamander Shopping Centre and Nelson Bay Town Center - awash with restaurants and cafes.
WHAT TYPES OF GUESTS STAY AT Dolphin Shores?
DOLPHIN-SHORES attracts both FAMILIES of up to 4 and COUPLES, who want to feel connected with the outdoors both for relaxing and water activity. The property's boundary is 8 meters from the water's edge. Between the water and the alfresco is a flat, green lawn reserve which makes an ideal area for children to play. Spotting our local Dolphin families at high tide from the property is a daily occurrence. For all-day beach play and safe swimming, Corlette Beach is 50 meters away from the back door. A children's park/playground is located 100 meters from the property along the foreshore.
Previous guests have fed back, they love how central the property is to family tourist attractions and activities at the Port.
Due to the close proximity to the waterfront CHILDREN NEED ADULT SUPERVISION AT ALL TIMES

Dolphin Shores is ideal for COUPLES - want a romantic getaway, providing modern and very private accommodation. The luxury 'Lucca Day Spa' is located on a 5-minute beach-side walk away at ‘The Anchorage’ Marina and Restaurant. Take a walk by the water and beachside into Nelson Bay Marina, a wonderful romantic 30 min walk brimming with natural sights, giving you some of the best views of the Port along the way. Or for the active couple, cycle from the property's door along "Bartlett Cycle-way" into Nelson Bay - see Google Maps.
ACCESSIBILITY -the property also attracts guests who want to be on the ground floor, without stairs with easy access. Two steps up into the front door. Back entrance- level with the ground. The Master en-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower. Unfortunately, the internal floor plan would not be wheelchair friendly.
WHAT IS THE BED CONFIGURATION? (Full Linen Supplied - bathroom toweling, sheets, etc).
Master Bedroom - is small with a Queen bed, topper for extra comfort, and its own EN-SUITE BATHROOM and air-conditioning.
Second Bedroom - Twin beds - 1 x single and 1 x king single
Baby Port-a-cot + baby high-chair - available
SECOND BATHROOM - Located conveniently opposite the second bedroom with bath and shower. It also has a washing machine and dryer concealed in cabinetry.
WHAT ARE THE LIVING AREAS?
Dolphin Shores' cosy Lounge and Dining area has views of the water from any aspect as the property is only meters from the water's edge of stunning Port Stephens. Watch boats come and go from the comfort of the corner modular lounge or watch the smart flat-screen TV. The modern kitchen is well equipped- oven, microwave, coffee machine (Nescafe or like, compatible pods) and welcome supplies of tea and coffee and condiments. (This is NOT a serviced apartment therefore exhausted supplies beyond a 2-night stay are not replenished)
Additionally, there is a separate TV Room (2nd TV) with a lounge, DVD player/DVD library for cosy family viewing or ideal for creating some kid-only space.
OUTDOOR LIVING
Step out of the lounge/dining area onto the large OUTDOOR ALFRESCO AREA for 180-degree uninterrupted water views. A beautifully manicured mowed lawn exists (nature reserve) between the property's back alfresco area and the waterfront. The outdoor area has a Northerly aspect. During summer, a large gum tree sheds shade over the dining area in time for lunch. During the winter months, with the sun low, the alfresco area receives all-day sun which flows right through into the internal lounge/dining area making this property inviting for all seasons.

DINE AND HAPPY HOUR............. by the sunset at the six-seater outdoor dining table and see the gorgeous Sunsets.
LAZE........... on the sunbed. No need to pack the kids up and drive anywhere with the calm clear waters of Corlette Beach only 50 meters away.
SWIM........... immediately out the front of the property at any hour of the day, sand bed doesn't fall away to the deep, so makes safe swimming supervised for all ages.
FISH....... out front! Known as 'the spot' at the Port for catching Whiting! or 200mtrs to the right off the rocks at Corlette Point
CYCLE....... from the property's door along "Bartlett Cycle-way" into Nelson Bay
Take advantage of the complimentary SUPs and KAYAKS for great fun activity. Kayaks supplied with adjustable Life jackets, of varying sizes.
2 x Adult Kayaks and 2 SUPs (Stand-up paddle boards). Easily launched down a ramp 20 meters left of the property on calm water days.
CAR PARKING
Undercover carport – is conveniently located immediately outside the front door for easy access, loading and unloading. Guest parking is also available onsite. Boat parking is available opposite the property on-street (extra wide).

SECURITY DEPOSIT - Please note there is a REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT (Bond) for this apartment of $500.
This is standard when booking a holiday home and helps ensure Guests treat the property as they would their own home. If no damage or loss has occurred during your stay the full amount of your deposit will be refunded within 7 days after departure.
