Starlight Poolside ~ 1 bedroom suite

The Starlight Poolside is a new stylish suite in the lower level of my detached house in Coquitlam's Ranch Park area. The area is a great hub for all lower mainland attractions.
Many enjoy poolside time before or after a day of sightseeing. POOL IS OPEN JUNE THROUGH SEPTEMBER. The outdoor area has a table/chairs, barbeque and 2 lounger chairs allocated for the poolside suite. The pool is heated and ready for use June through September. There is no fencing between the entrance door and the pool, and there are side yard stairs to the entrance from the gravel driveway. The poolside suite is not suitable for children, or people unable to climb stairs for these reasons.

Inside the newly built suite, you will notice the open floorplan, quartz countertop eating bar area, microwave, induction cooktop, and a large Breville toaster oven. (There is no stove/oven) There are plenty of dishes and cooking utensils available.
The gorgeous floor to ceiling tile spa-like bathroom has a nice soaker tub for the needed evening relaxation! Dim down the crystal lights! Large sliders open to the pool deck, for a tranquil view. No need to think about bringing towels, pool towels, soap, shampoo, etc...as all are provided here.
The bedroom has a large king bed, which can be split and I can make into 2 twin xl beds! Let me know ahead of time. The mattresses are super comfortable, and guests have said that the suite is very quiet! Nice. The 'safe and sound insulation' that I put in works!
Wifi and Netflix are provided, along with cable channels, which can be watched on the 32" flat screen tv.
There could be others in the backyard at the same time as you. Times in the pool can be put on a sign up board, so private pool time can be enjoyed easily. The pool is open and heated June through September.
At the end of my street, Starlight Way, is a bus stop which will bring you down to the Coquitlam Centre Mall and Evergreen Line (skytrain). If you drive, it is 5 minutes away. Walking maybe 15-20 minutes, but longer coming back as I am on a hill! You may wish to take a quick cab ride up, or take the transit bus. The skytrain or the West Coast Express train will take you right into Vancouver. Both are a great way to travel.
Coquitlam is about a 20 minute drive to Vancouver. Maybe 30 minutes right to downtown, providing traffic is good.
There are many lakes, and hiking trails around. If you wish to be out for a bbq in the park, let me know. I can provide you with a cooler, ice packs and a bbq for your pleasure!

The Starlight Poolside was a good place to chill out after a busy day in Coquitlam. Just nice to come back in the evening and be able to relax in a pleasant space. The bed was comfortable and we both slept well. The kitchen had everything we needed. Great stay!

Located close to Highway 1 with lots of restaurants and grocery store nearby. Property is well-kept with a beautiful pool. King size bed is super comfortable. Host is amazing. We would definitely stay here again if we are coming this way.

Beautiful suite!
We really enjoyed our stay. Cory (owner) is lovely, the suite has everything you need and the location works well. We’d hike at local attractions all morning and return to the suite for a swim in the afternoon. Located so you can easily access downtown Vancouver via the Skytrain or the many natural attractions in North Vancouver.

We were in town for a concern in Vancouver, after discovering this property it seemed to be perfect us in regards for price, location, proximity to public transit. The property was very updated with a nice kitchen if you were staying for a few days along with very comfortable bed. The host was wonderful when we arrived accidentally early. Highly recommend

It was a great place to chill after touring around Vancouver. Loved the pool each and every day. The inside of the home was very warm and convenient. The only negative thing I can say is, barbeque could use a little attention. As well as the landscaping. But it was a wonderful stay.

My husband and I were in town visiting our son and his family. The Starlight Poolside was perfect for us. We were able to have great family pool time fun with our two year old granddaughter too. Many memories were made. We would definitely consider staying here again. Cori was a wonderful host, and the property (while the outside is being updated-we didn’t mind) was just perfect for us. I can’t wait to see what upgrades will be done I. The future.

Wonderful Place To Stay In Coquitlam BC
Cory the house owner provided a beautiful Starlight Suite with a totally upgraded one bedroom apartment. The bedroom had a very comfortable king size bed. The living room has a couch that can be made into a second bed. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need if you choose to make your own meals. Bathroom is another beautifully renovated place. I will definitely be renting her suite the next time we visit my family in Coquitlam! I wish the pool was ready but we just missed the opening by 2 weeks. Cory was on holiday but she had her son and neighbour available for us if anything happens while we were there. She also left clear instructions for our stay and also when we left. It is the best place we have ever stayed in on VRBO. Thanks again for your comfortable suite! Jen and Kev. Calgary
