"We had a lovely peaceful weekend away here. Lynda was very welcoming even though we arrived 5 hours late due to motorway closure. Nice secluded woodland for the dogs to roam about in. Well equipped cottage and comfortable beds which is always a bonus."

"Pond cottage was ideallic, surrounded by beautiful countryside and gardens. The facilities were fantastic and the cottage well insulated. Ducks and geese were fun to watch and little squirrels hopping around the garden. "

"A home from home with good quality appliances, crockery and towels. The double is on the smaller side and we found the mattress rolled in towards the middle. Lack of ventilation and a blind were other small issues but the pros far outweighed them. The view was stunning. The peace was amazing. The meals we bought were delicious and plentiful! We were overwhelmed with the welcome hamper - it was above and beyond expectations. We definitely recommend and hope to go back."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It’s spacious, comfortable and was very warm and cosy even in cold winter weather. The location is peaceful - no disturbance from the farm - and the owners Carol and Russell are helpful and friendly. It’s a brilliant base for exploring this part of Devon, right on the edge of Dartmoor and also not far from the coast. We did some great (hilly) bike rides and enjoyed walking along the lanes to the Carpenters Arms in Ilsington (great food and beer). Hope...
