"Lovely quiet location with a rustic feel. Loved the enthusiasm of the family that own it and the details she gave of Carulla which had been in their family for centuries. Chance to chill by the pool which got sun for 90% of the day. It is 15 mins from any shops so make sure you stock up before as there is no restaurant anywhere nearby. kitchen stocked with everything you need and in the colder months plenty of wood for the fire. "Stayed with our 3 chn in Aug for a week. Rooms were spotless, cleaned every day. Air con was great but didn't need it all the time. "If you don't mind walking 15 min a bit uphill, not steep, from the train station (past a small market) this is a great option. Missed my train to Monserrat and stayed here. It was a gem really. Clean, coffee maker in room, excellent shower, comfortable bed. Another 12 min to rack railway. Arrived after 7pm, hotel restaurant was closed but owner had reached out on Whatsapp with code for entry (phone number on door). Thank you!!!! Great option for price. Would stay again. "

"Stayed 1 night in Oct 2023. Very tiny village not so far from Montserrat. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fine. Very narrow streets. Instructions at the hotel front door to contact the owner by phone to get a code to enter the property. Also instructions to get to the parking lot indicates to go against a one way street (for a very short distance...) Overall we were happy of this hotel and would stay again !"
