Pros Staff were all lovely Location was great for public transport with trains, taxis and metro available on the doorstep Beautiful art deco style building Decent breakfast buffet Cons This is a very noisy property, with regular noise and vibrations from the trains. Not recommended for light sleepers. Small rooms Breakfast buffet was chaotic when we tried to eat at the same time as a coach party - we got turfed out of our seats twice due to people saving tables for their friends. Not very well organised.

The location is very convenient for those traveling by train and it located in the center of the city. It is an older hotel,room was spacious but no housekeeping service.

The hotel is in a very convenient location. As such, you hear trains, people, and cars coming and going at all times, so if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. The rooms are a good size, clean, and comfortable. There is a luggage room to store luggage. The outside of the hotel is very drab. You wouldnt think that the inside was nice by looking at the outside. Breakfast was a good variety.

Nice hotel but needs more breakfast space!
Very convenient for the station and had some nice original features linking to its history. Room very small but fine for a night or two. Reception staff very helpful and efficient. Liked breakfast but major issue with space, had to queue for a table. Not good and affected overall experience.

Modern shower door with half glass door is not practical. It is extremely poor design. The bathroom floor gets wet and slippery. You should change the shower door for full enclosure. It is a risk hazard and not very environment friendly.

Fantastic location
Lots of charm in this hotel! My daughter and I were in Copenhagen for one night, and this hotel was incredibly convenient. Great breakfast as well. Rooms were small but comfortable and clean. Would stay here again!

Historical rising damp.
While the hotel may have an interesting history and a beautiful historical marquee, it is need of a complete gut and re-build. The structure has poor ventilation as evidenced by a persistent smell of rising damp and visible indicators of mold growth both in public areas and the rooms. Of the 200 hotels I've stayed at in the last five years this is by far the most disappointing.

Hotel Astoria is a facility built in the 1930s right next to the main train station, in the middle of town. We had a room facing to station, which offered a great view but with some bustle into the late evening. We found the young staff to be extremely friendly and attentive. There is a buffet breakfast which was varied and abundant. The restaurant does not serve lunch nor dinner but there are many locales nearby. One night we had Thai and the second night Chinese. Both were great.

The Hotel was old, it smelled when you walk in. The room was tiny and smelled. There was no AC. We ordered a king bed and was given two twins pushed together When I asked the front desk I was told this was a Danish King. We moved to the Radisson which was amazing and guess what they had a king size bed. Our room at the Astoria was non refundable so when we moved to the other Hotel we were basically paying for 2 nights. The only thing good at all was the morning breakfast.

We were missing a Towel to have on the bathroom floor. On the Sundby breakfast there were no bacon to the Scramled eggs. Otherwise perfekt located beside the railwaystation. Close to everything.
