Beautiful place and location
My mom was born in Denmark so it has always been a life goal to take this trip. The location of apartment is amazing. Walkable to many of the places we wanted to see. I do suggest the Copenhagen card. All metro and buses and trains are included also the palaces and other sites entry fees like tivoli. We did the 5 day pass. The apartment itself was very Hugge. Comfortable and nice.

Authentic Copenhagen historic property
We had an excellent time and everything in the apartment worked for our Copenhagen vacation. The kitchen was well equipped (no microwave, but all else). The new metro stop is still under construction literally right in front of the flat. Work is only in the daytime. It will be most convenient for travel when done. The bedroom is in the far back so it was amazingly quiet for sleeping despite any sounds up front. There are shops right around the corner for coffee and everything else. Two blocks away is the waterfront with dozens of superb restaurants. The view out the front windows of the apartment is of the Marble Church...a major historic site. It closes at 5 pm so it makes a quiet neighbor too... and it’s spectacular to look at. We had a great time. Super convenient and classy.

Perfectly situated and surprisingly homey.
Snuggled under the shadow of the might Marble Church, and a two minute walk to the royal palaces, and a ten minute walk to the National Design Museum, this apartment was ideally situated for my wife and me. Despite work on a new metro station in front of the handsome building, it was quiet. Walls of books, many original pictures, and nice furniture gave a homey feel--quite different from so many Ikea furnished vacation apts. Kitchen has all necessary utensils. Only drawback is the queen bed takes up the entire "bedroom." One person must crawl over the other for midnight missions.....

Great location except the metro construction
Charming older apartment which shows wear. As others nots bed while very comfortable takes up most of the bedroom. Kitchen supplies minimal.

Great location and nice apartment with real character
On a street with the 'Marble Church' right on the other side, it's about a 10 minute walk from Kongens Nytorv, the square with a busy underground station that connects to the main rail station and to Kastrup airport. On the ground floor with a roomy living room and big windows, a combination dining room/library, small but well-equipped kitchen. Downsides are the small bedroom with a queen-sized bed that fills the space, making it hard to make up, and necessitating climbing over one's bedmate if one gets up during the night, and not much room to hang clothes up or place luggage. Kitchen and bedroom windows look out onto a shared interior courtyard; there is a (free) washer but no dryer in the basement. Bathroom is shower only with a curtain, no enclosure. We love to walk and basically all of touristic Copenhagen is within walking distance if you don't think 30-40 minutes is too much. Construction of a new subway line is still going on (summer 2018) at a snail's pace, so part of the street is blocked off (no traffic!), but we heard no noise. The apartment is full of traditional furniture, paintings, and other objets d'art obviously collected by the owners over many years, which give it real character.

Very old and historical building.
Great place to stay but the renovation of the magnificent Marble Church next to the apartment was a problem for getting around. Other then that we enjoyed our stay there.

Excellent, very well-positioned flat.
The accommodation was spacious, very comfortable, well equipped. The furniture, pictures and general decor made it a very pleasant place to stay. The position is perfect for sightseeing and the immediate surroundings beautiful with the Amelienborg Palace and a view of the Opera House less than 5 minutes away. Although there is work on the new Metro going on just outside it is screened by light curtains and we were not disturbed by any noise. The side view of the Marble Church is blocked currently but this is a minor issue and hardly detracts from a stay in this lovely flat.

Comfortable and well-located
Pros: Location. Location. Right next to Marble Church. Easy walk to much of the city center, shops and restaurants. The apartment. is in an old building and traditional in style; really gives the feeling of living in central Copenhagen. The unit is considerably larger than pictures communicate and comfortably and fully equipped. Hourly church bells are lovely. Metro construction in front of the building was not a bother. Cons: The apartment is old-fashioned so mostly lit by table and floor lamps; we had difficulty figuring out how/where to turn on lights. A slight inconvenience. More critically, the company that services the apartment does not make up the bed. We arrived at night, exhausted after a 25-hour trip, and wet from a rainy walk from the metro station -- and discovered we had to put the sheets on the bed ourselves. Because the bedroom is very small and the bed takes up the width of the room, this required climbing back and forth over the bed, and we are in our 70s and 80s. There is a stiff cleaning fee of 125 Euros added to the rental. I think for that sum, renters should at least be greeted by a made bed. For that reason, I deducted a star.

Great location, old flat.
An amazing flat so central to this smart and elegant City! Numerous drawbacks but such an opportunity to get to know this exciting Scandinavian centre of culture, all main sights within walking distance, 26 bus for those who don't like walking. Virtually next door to the 'marble' Church. Tight, small double bedroom, large sitting room and large dining room, TV, full library of books mainly in Danish, kitchen breakfast room for a real cook, ancient fittings but all working, communal washing machine in basement; ancient shower room, great shower, wood floors throughout. Slow wifi. Metro station being built right by the flat, so noisy workmen from 7am to 9pm most days. Supermarket and restaurants cafes galore. If the flat was updated the rent would be much higher, so a bargain if you can put up with the quirky and grand character of this ancient apartment

Nice apartment close to many of the main sites in Copenhagen.
The apartment was exactly as described in the listing and as pictured. This was a great location. The courtyard was nice and relaxing after long days of sight seeing. Great location close to many of the main sights and within walking distance of most of them. Close to metro locations. There was construction outside the apartment which was also described in the listing. It really didn't distract from the enjoyment from being in Copenhagen and there was no noise. We purchased a 3 day Copenhagen card and made really good use of it. Free trips on the metro and got us in to all the sites we wanted to see including Kronborg castle and Frederiksborg Castle. Discount on bike rental and free canal tour. The apartment was great and really enjoyed the stay.
