"The cottage was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed to end our UK trip. We were able to rest, enjoy the sun in the garden, and recoup from our adventure, before hopping on a plane home. Our host was kind and accommodating and responded very quickly. It's a beautiful neighborhood. The only thing to note is it is quite a long walk to/from the train stations and grocery stores. You will need a car or bus to get there."

I had been in contact with her regarding check in via email and messenger, I even sent a photo of the temperature in the house. 10 degrees. I had to source 2 radiators myself, which a kind neighbour lent us. I would like a refund for our inconvenience "

Many of the beds were too short and one room is clearly a children’s room. The place needs some TLC on furniture, rugs, beds (sag in middle) and outdoor cleanliness…lots of spider webs. "I am not sure where to begin, but our stay at the Victorian Lodge in Windsor was absolutely amazing. Hamish was a wonderful host, and we could've stayed forever. There is something special about being in the English countryside, and our stay at the Lodge almost felt like we were inside of a storybook. If you want to be close to London/Windsor, but away from the crowds and the noise, you will not regret staying here. We had no issues getting food delivered, or getting rides to/from the lodge....

"Peter and Kaye were GREAT hosts. The place was immaculate and exactly what was described online. More than enough room for me, my wife and 15 year old daughter. They even left a bottle of Chardonnay for our Friday night arrival and Peter brought over 2 great beers!! Their 2 dogs were VERY friendly and my daughter just loved them. I HIGHLY recommend staying here the next time you are near Cookham UK. Thanks again for a GREAT time!! Hope to see you again. Elmhurst IL Gang"

"This is a perfect place to relax and unwind if you're looking for peace and gorgeous farmland. Lots of footpaths nearby, including a nature preserve. A car is necessary to get to nearby attractions like Stonor Park or Waddeston but it would be possible to spend a long weekend here and walk to a nearby pub or creamery that makes decision cheese. Lots of farm stands too, to stock up on locally raised produce. We used the kitchen a lot and found it adequate for all our needs. The family is lovely...

"Spacious, clean, and updated apartment close to the storage unit I use. Def use again. There was a lot of comings and goings in the hall in the night but when I closed the bedroom door it eliminated a lot of the noise. Note that the 3pm checkin means your door code won't work until 3pm. That part confused me. Photos of apartments aren't necessarily representative. There's a lot of admin to get IN and OUT ... if location suits you then it's a great option overall."
