"The property was spacious, clean & had everything we needed. The parking was good but the bays were narrow. It also wasn't mentioned that the pool towels had to be hired at £2 per person per day. Unfortunately the restaurant was still closed which is very disappointing as you don't always want to go back out driving on the evening "

"We stayed one night in 4 persons room (3 of us), we also had dinner in the restaurant. Food was great and service was excellent. The place is in a spectacular location and offers incredible views on the quay. We enjoyed a couple of drinks while watching a wonderful sunset- couldnt wish for more dreamy end to a day of walking on SWCP! The room we had was good, although we only had 2 small bottles of water, 2 towels and only 1 pack of small treats. Not a big deal, and I'm sure we couldve asked...

"A lovely B & B opposite the golf course. We had a decent size room at the front, with a good bed, shower in a room decorated to a very good standard, The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had. Parking is limited to 2 hours between 9 to 6."

"The staff were extremely helpful and on hand if and when we needed them. This is an old building which has kept its character which added to the experience. The room had an en-suite and was clean and the water was nice and hot. They don’t do evening meals but Okehampton is not far away so eating out is not a problem. Breakfast was excellent and plenary of choice."

"Stayed for one night while attending a Christmas party at a nearby farm shop. Suzanne was very welcoming when we arrived showing us where everything was. The cottage was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The rooms were clean, warm and welcoming with everything you needed, breakfast was delicious and we would highly recommend this little gem of a place. "

"My hosts were friendly and professional. One Drake Road is beautifully furnished and there are myriad beautiful touches to make this a unique and truly splendid stay. It was comfortable, homely and a great place from which to explore Tavistock and surrounding areas. "

"Our stay was just totally amazing. The Tavistock Town House is a beautiful, very well maintained family home in a perfect central location in Tavistock. Liz could not have been a more perfect helpful host. All the essentials and more are provided…the welcoming Afternoon tea and milk in the fridge was just the icing in the cake!…will definitely be planning another stay soon !! "

"I absolutly love the lodges. This was our 2nd year of staying at the Mole. My daughter particularly loves the hot tub. There is plenty of space to walk our dog too and an enclosed area where she can go off lead. Although this year there were a few disappointments. We were not left a doggie goodie bag, even though we had paid for our dog to stay. There were no robes in our lodge which are particularly useful when getting out the hot tub, so we struggled with drying towels for showers and hot tub...

"We stayed for a short break of 2 nights. Lovely little cabin at the end of owners' property, not overlooked, very private and absolutely quiet. The only noise came from birds and sheep! In the cabin was everything you'll need such as microwave, toaster and kettle, even one electric hob. Comfy bed and TV with Freeview. Shower of course. No Wifi but my phone worked on mobile data. Lovely owners, available if there are questions. Would absolutely recommend. Thank you Lynn xx"
