Our stay was lovely, beautiful hotel with wonderful views of the countryside, amazing decor, very clean and comfortable with very friendly hosts and delicious breakfast.
Beautiful property in gorgeous surroundings. Excellent hosts, made you feel very welcome. Room was very well maintained, breakfast was very nice too.
Definitely recommended to everyone in the area.
Beautiful house with amazing views. Our whole stay was faultless from start to finish. Lovely warm welcome, wonderful room with stunning views. Everything you could want including a feshly cooked excellent quality breakfast.
We had a wonderful stay at the Coed Mawr hotel. Beautiful hotel, beautiful scenery. Everywhere was spotless. The beautifully decorated lounge was lovely to relax in during the evening. Beth & Andrew couldn't have been more welcoming & friendly.
Just amazing, breakfast set you beautifully up for the day. If you could bear to leave the venue, that is. The setting is breathtaking, with lovely valley walks from the front door. River and sea all very easy to access too.
Can’t recommend this place enough! It’s absolutely beautiful. Lovely welcome from Andrew when we arrived, he made us feel so welcome. Everywhere was so clean, the bed was comfy and the breakfast was great. The view from our window was stunning. Only stayed for two nights but come back home feeling very relaxed. We will definitely return.
We felt genuinely welcome from the moment we stepped through the beautiful red door!
A gorgeous boutique hotel, run by a charming family, who have put so much thought and heart into all the little touches that made our stay both wonderful & unique.
I had rather high expectations after reading the glowing reviews & it’s only fair to say, they were surpassed! I can’t wait to come back!
Lovely building, very clean and well presented. Very thoughtful touches with a honesty fridge and toiletries if you’ve forgotten anything. Room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom had supplies of shampoo/body wash that smelled delightful. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Owner and children were very friendly and informative. We had some tasty bara brith on arrival ☺️. Very much out of the way, so very peaceful and quiet stay. We would highly recommend and would stay again.

Heaven in North Wales
A heavenly place in the world. Can I call this experience perfection? Yes. I can, I am.
We based ourselves at Coed Mawr for a mix of personal business and pleasure. Andrew and Beth were extremely nice hosts who keep this magnificient property in tip top condition. The cooked breakfast is superb, with a great choice, plus of course the continental selection. Our room was spacious and spotless. The property is located at the end of a long track, don't be put off by it being a track, it is in very good condition. There are beautiful views across the valley which just add to the peaceful surroundings. Within easy driving distance of much of North Wales major tourist destinations.
A truly unique place set amongst the beautiful hills of North Wales. The view from our window was stunning. We were made to feel very welcome and were taken to our amazing room named ‘The Ballroom’. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were delicious. The staff were professional and the owners made us feel very special. We can’t wait to return again. Thank you to Beth and Andrew 👍
Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Incredibly beautiful location, excellent room with comfortable bed. Personal service. Thoroughly recommended.
Stay was outstanding. Wonderful service started on arrival when the owner greeted us on arrival and carried our bags up to the room. We were then presented with tea/coffee and bara brith in a beautiful lounge area. The room, service, breakfast and environment provided a perfect setting for a lovely weekend in Conway/North Wales area. Thank you
Me and my wife booked this place for our honeymoon. When we got to the gate, the owners’ daughter happened to be there and opened it for us, and greeted us. This set the tone for the whole stay - a beautiful, family-run guest house with great attention to detail, from the honesty bar, perfect radio volume and fantastic interior design of the lounge, to the always-pristine, well stocked breakfast/tea room. The owners have a wealth of knowledge about the area with lots of guidance on local walks, local pubs and any attractions nearby. It was a really lovely place to stay with excellent views and a very enjoyable room (we stayed in “the classroom” on the top floor). Couldn’t have made our honeymoon any more perfect!!
