"We weren't allowed to use the pool, hot tub or sauna, priority guven to a wedding reception. Some mosquitoes were aound and Japanese beetles. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly. Villa was nice."

Hotel and rooms a little quirky in a good way - only downside is lack of air conditioning when 25C (80F) at night. Easy walk or cycle into town. Secure location to leave cars while exploring city. "We were warmly welcomed by Paolo and his father who were charming and very helpful. The room was huge but rather gloomy and dark with all indirect lighting. "The host and hostess are very friendly and accommodating. It is a small bed and breakfast and they treat their guests like family. They are helpful in making suggestions of what to see and do in the area. The breakfast is a nice selection for pastries, meats, local cheeses and jam."
