"Great place "

"I had a terrible day due to a death in my family and when I arrived I was clearly upset and in tears. The staff, including the manager could tell I was distressed. They offered me dinner and water. They offered to get my bags to my room. The manager went out of her way to help me. I am normally a calm person but being away from home during a death was upsetting. They did all they could to comfort me. They went way above and beyond. "

"We checked in a little before midnight after driving about 19 hours. Richard was delightful, especially after such a long day!! I wish all front desk people were as welcoming and friendly as he was! I do wish the breakfast was a bit more stocked. I will definitely stay there if ever in town again!"

"Clean and very nice employees. But why no table lamps? You either have bright overhead light in room or nothing. Neither phone or tv remote worked properly. Requested a couple additional pillows as they were really flat kind. Could only find one to give us. We come this direction several times a year when cruising out of Galveston. It was very clean but probably will not stay here again"
