Andy came down to meet us and checked on us throughout our stay - could not have been friendlier! We loved the location. Plenty of maps, hiking ideas and local suggestions were provided. "Went for two nights mid-week with my partner and our dog to celebrate my birthday. Lovely little well kept and decorated property. With nice touches like fresh eggs, milk, homemade cakes and fresh flowers when you arrive. Literally on a working farm with all of the hustle and bustle you would expect, but it still felt private, with great views over the fields. Well stocked kitchen, we cooked both nights we were there. Plenty of walking spots nearby and unrestricted use of the hot tub. "

"Wonderful, warm cottage visited in midst of winter. Comfortable and cozy, with plenty of hot water. High quality appliances, furniture and finishes, with access to excellent pubs and restaurants within walking distance. The owners care very much about providing a care-free experience for visitors.An excellent base for anyone wishing to explore the dales, or having an interest in ACG&S TV series."

"The room was clean, and had everything we needed however we found the room to be a bit chilly with no way of making it warmer as the remote for the fan had half of the buttons missing! We were in the furthest room and only there for 1 night so just left it but it was a shame as not had this issue when staying there before. "

Great value

"One night stay to break up our journey. Setting was lovely in the outskirts of the town surrounded by beautiful countryside. Room was small but clean and comfortable with tea and coffee avaliable. Great restaurant with a good selection of meals. Service was very good. Very surprised at the quality if the breakfast which was excellent and we felt the stay was great value for money."
