Everything else was clean and orderly. We didn't spend much time outside as our stay was late September and it was rainy, so I can't judge the grill or firepit area. "The property is in a beautiful secluded setting near Forbes State Forest. Beware if GPS tries to take you in on Laurel Tunnel Road off of route 31, all dirt road and very confusing; instead take Short School Road off route 31. The cottage was cozy and the gas fireplace kept the place warm. The hot tub was nice. The toilet occassionally needed the plunger to flush out. "Lovely, clean cottage with all amenities necessary for a relaxing weekend with friends. Beds were comfortable. House well maintained. Hot tub was at 100 degrees when we got there. One note to female travelers: One of the neighbors has a drone and flew it over us while we were in the hot tub. This spooked me since we were staying in the middle of the woods. "This cottage was the absolute perfect getaway for my boyfriend and I. The property was spotless and so inviting. The hot tub was so relaxing after a long day of hiking. The deck off the creek house was excellent for morning tea. The indoor fireplace was also lovely. The host was so kind and communicated promptly and politely when we had questions.
